This is a telling stat. Raps reverted back to their old ways in this game. I bet they chuck it 30+ times in the next game.

I don't blame DeRozan or Lowry's efforts, necessarily. But to me it's a fat that when you get to the playoffs and there's more pressure mentally and physically, your best players need both skills AND athleticism/size. The Raptors' best skilled players -- DeRozan, Lowry, Valanciunas, Ibaka, and FVV (but I'll leave FVV off for now since he hasn't been playing, lol) -- have NO ADVANTAGE in terms of size, strength, or speed against any of their matchups. They're always at that disadvantage in the playoffs.
It's why we like Poeltl, Wright, and Siakam as much as we do, they're very athletic for their positions. Just don't have the higher-level skills yet.
Good Lord, the little stoner's got a point.

It doesn't matter if you have ball movement all game but then revert to iso in the big moments.....you become incredibly predictable n easy to guard ie/ what happens every F*CKING time out there!

DeMar goes tunnel vision n Koward Lowry hides away from the ball = we lose everytime.

Wonder if that no good POS Grange will ask tough questions?

none of the Raptors reporters ask tough questions and really put guys on the spot to answer for their terrible mistakes.

they just parrot the information/viewpoints that Casey puts out.

So in other words they are bitches lol

Well if the refs would have blown their whistles on the fouls on Derozan and Lowry, the raps would have won or at least kept it close.
The bench needs to come up big. Delon should have more trust in his shot. He passed up 2 open threes in the closing minutes. Not to mention Miles missed a wide open three pointer.

The only good thing in Raptorland right now is knowing Red Shoelace is going to bless us with and1's at some point.

During the regular season, he showed that he would roll with the lineup that was playing well instead of defaulting to the starters no matter what. Tonight, he went back to his old ways and it cost us the game.

if he did that, Raps would have won this game.
Chill they was down2 with 6 mins left and casset wenag back 2 dd and ibaka

We all know this team is unreliable. We all know we don't have true superstars and a dumbass coach. So we hope that they play at or above their potential to give themselves a chance to win. We also hope that they don't play like idiots and turn the ball over. They can't afford to be idiots.

Demar fan logic, folks. Pure genius at work.

Lmao that defensive sub really worked out

JV was awful.

He's too fkin slow, at least Poetl is mobile.

JV only gives you some offense, nothing else.

Not worth having him out there
Tnt commentators were apalled by how bad JV's defense was. It's no surprise that Casey didn't play him much.

Thats a huge point here

Kyle and Demar as leaders are pathetic. They have no confidence, when things get tough they fall apart. Dont even throw an rpm or vorp at me. They are softer mentally than rookies like mitchell and simmons

demarre carroll is saying "i told you so" right now... best part of this game was probably the fact that jack wasnt calling it, because it would just be an endless diatribe of "OTHER GUYS HAVE TO STEP UP AND HELP DEMAR."
