I think Melo would be huge off the bench for us if he agreed and bought into the role. We need a scorer and a PF.. he can fill both voids.

FVV
Lin / Norm
OG / McCaw
Melo
Ibaka

That’s a hell of a lot of talent off the bench to work with. There’s so many options it’s crazy. Melo would be nice for us if he bought in to the cause.

LOL, I mean are you all serious? Melo? I would not take him in million years even if we get a draft pick with him.

In what game have we needed another centre of PF. When would he have gotten one minute. We don’t desperately need one ...that for sure.

And OG is fine at the 4.

Carmelo has never worked as a high usage volume scorer as a starter...

As a bench player playing 10-20 minutes surrounded by defenders like Ibaka and OG he literally can't hurt you on
the floor and if he does you take him out.

The whole thing with him has been he refuses to accept that role also people need to realize there are no sexy options
out there beggers can't be choosers.

Bogut signs with GSW. Looks like Gortat will be choosing between Us, Milwakee and Phi.

Does anybody have an updated list on who's available?

Is Acy available? I know he's a scrub but he's not bad for rebounding and toughness as a 3rd big.

I'd be down for melo (if he can accept his role) and Acy

Man if the Raps aren’t gonna get Meeks back, they should really sign and call up Wade Baldwin IV from the 905 before a non playoff team picks him up. He’s ballin since he joined the 905 and his length and game really belongs in the NBA

Someone will get signed on march 14th when we need to get to the minimum roster of 14.

It could be Meeks, Gortat or someone else. Webster/Masai will also likely fill the last roster spot on the last day of the season, possibly with whichever of Meeks or Gortat is still available. It could also be Loyd being converted to a regular contract to make him playoff eligible. None of these guys are getting any minutes outside of garbage time or injuries.

We could also wait till April 1st and up signing an international player like how the Pels signed Dairis Bertans & Warriors signed Andrew Bogut.
We all know Masai loves his international players and he's scouting all year round.
He could have some players on his radar.
In Masai We Trust :meditate:
