That tweet kinda overrating Thybulle. He’s not a two way player, he just plays D kind of like Andre Roberson before the injuries. We seen in OKC how teams just ignored him deep in the playoffs.

His defensive upside is as high as anyone else to have walked on this planet though. It's as high as Kawhi defensively. Not being hyperbolic, he's an incredible defensive player already, and can still get better.

Offensively there's still a lot of room for improvement.

so he’s basically bruce bowen

Better, imo.

Love what he can be. I'd be selfish and want Maxey and Thybulle and Reed, but that's probably not realistic.

I enjoyed Thybulle’s bubble video diary so I demand he’s in the deal.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Herro / Raps 1st
OG / 1st from Norm trade
Siakim / Boucher
Mobley / Precious

That is a hell of a playoff starting line up. Small window, but enough shooting and defense to give the Net a run for their money. I would pick that team over the Sixers and Bucks for sure.

The problem is that if the Heat give up Dragic and Herro their bench will be garbage, whereas depth was a strength during their last run. If only there was a way they could keep Dragic and Olynk so they have depth. Dragic, Olynk, Nunn, Ariza, Bradley, Iggy is an awesome veteran playoff bench.

If they find a way to keep Dragic is there a backup centre they can acquire to replace Kelly?

they are favorites to sign lamarcus aldrige when he gets bought out.

I was factoring in LaMarcus signing with them, but that still leaves them without a single back up big if they trade Kelly and Precious. But as many have noted there should be enough buyout players to fill their backup position.

Wait, how did we get Mobley... and we didn't even use a pick to get him? Lol

In order to get herro AND precious....I'm guessing we'd have to send Boucher to miami along with Kyle.

My post was regarding Thybulle’s impact on a hypothetical series this season that the tweet was referring. I know he’s an incredibly elite defender but he’s literally a non factor on offense looking at some metrics. Solid potential though in the future.

We would be getting Mobley with our first, but yeah. I also think you could get a young prospect in a Norm deal.

I think Precious has to be in the deal because he’s a good fit next to Pascal and especially Boucher.

It’s really Herro or Robinson at this point and we’re holding out for Herro. Miami has been trying to get a high end PG for ages.

what kind of role does Precious play on our team? He is like OG without the 3pt

I can’t get over how good of a spot we are in with this. We’ve got Miami and Philly in a bidding war and are going to end up with a solid deal if he is moved. If not, there’s a very good chance he’s re-signing here.

Small ball 5 and normal 4. He’s not someone you want hanging around the perimeter. Different player from OG. Precious will catch lobs off the pick and role and run the floor. Think Pascal during the last Demar year when he was the leader of the bench mob. Hustle guys who you want on the floor. That’s who I see Precious being at this stage of his career. Still has plenty time to develop an offensive arsenal and fix the shot tho

Cuttino STILL be getting buckets. And he ain't even need to play alongside Steve Francis.

Pause.

Well easy choice for me. Maxey can't shoot, Thaiybul has a pretty limited ceiling, and I hate that goof Ben simmons, I don't wanna have to root for the Sixers in the playoffs. Herro has major Hooper potential and I like Miami's team.. Gimme Miami baby.

Cuttino was a big boy last time I saw him. He probably could place centre.

And yes in the excitement of my original post I gave the Raps x2 1st rounders

I am hoping Bobby (and hopefully Masai) can pick up another pick or 2 to really jump start the rebuild because if FVV, OG and Siakim are around with whatever you get from Lowry and Norm + their own pick this year, I do not think we will be bad enough to get a high draft pick next year as well. This is kind of a freak year that combined having no home court, being destroyed by COVID, and also getting some really bad luck on last second shots (made by the other team and missed by the Raps).

I say really pack it in this year, get a top 5 and then call it a day.

If we're trading with Philly I really want Paul Reed. He absolutely destroyed the G-league.

6'9" 210 with a 7'2 wingspan.

I can't understand the love for Maxey. Is it that ppl think we won't get much in return? I think I've said it many times before along with others that you'll be surprised what Lowry will get even if the American media will tell you otherwise. If teams want to win now and compete for next 2-3 years, they'll be going hard to get him to avoid their competitors from getting their hands on him.

So basically RHJ? Not hating but, these kind of guys almost never develop a good offensive game.
