It starts to be a concern because he's had quite a few foot and ankle injuries since getting to the NBA.

He was really healthy in college though so it's also possible it's a string of bad luck right now.

Note: Teams also received votes: Detroit Pistons, Memphis Grizzlies, Denver Nuggets, Atlanta Hawks, Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets, LA Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Orlando Magic, Utah Jazz and Washington Wizards.

22 teams got votes. Raps got zero.

Discuss.

Wow. There was a time we were considered top tier... wtf?? Is this (assessment) a result of Masai departure?

Raps have definitely not impressed ... their draft record / picks have been quite poor. Over pays on most FA signings... pressure is definitely on this management... and ownership.

Before the reset and OG/Siakam trades, we had a period of time where Masai and Bobby barely did any transactions. They held on to the old core for too long, rested in their laurels and now we’ve developed a culture of losing again.

What this team needed after Masai left wasn’t a continuity of what wasn’t working. It should have been a complete overhaul. New FO, coaching staff, scouting, etc. New uniforms. Instead they are trying to hold on to an era that has passed by.

MPJ is on a tear as well with 4 straight 30 point games all incredibly efficient. Up to 26 ppg now and maintained his efficiency with the increased volume. Quite a few guys have taken some unexpected leaps this season.

Jordi is an insane coach lol. Give him a great shooter and he'll give them the Mike Dantoni boost.

I'm wondering what the Nets will end up doing with him. You would think he increased his trade value, but it's not the easiest contract to fit into most good teams. It would almost have to be on a team like ours who's around average and might think it's worth trying to upgrade. Replacing Ingram with his efficient scoring and shooting ability would be an interesting thought. We would lose the half court ISO scoring but make up for it in other ways, debatable how much we would improve though. It would certainly cost at least 1 FRP too.

I think you keep him. It's not like they have anyone else to pay. Gotta meet a certain threshold with the salary cap too.

Unless someone offers a boatload of picks for him with some expiring contracts with it.

His deal is expiring next season, so they need to decide by then whether to extend him or move him. He likely has more value now than next season as an expiring.

Don't think anyone is offering a bunch of picks unless it involves taking on a bad contract like Paul George back.

Got way too comfortable and i am not a fan of Bobby at all....I feel hes one of the reasons we have been team mid for so long....What should have happened was a total reset when we lost FVV for nothing in Free agency....But then again i am not confident in Bobbys drafting as he has not made many good picks lately....So even playing the drafting game seems like a gamble with this Front office....Think we need new people in charge at this point....Someone with a new vision.

It is quite disappointing that not one draft pick since Barnes has really jumped ahead... they are all quite mediocre --- trending towards their draft positions --- or much worst; while, you see other teams with gems rising out of the pack...

We are a mediocre drafting organization now... How did we get so Bad???? Did we lose key scouts???

Few thought we were a bad drafting team last year when,

Gradey was a 15-point guy and top 5 in scoring from his draft year.

Walter was hitting game winners

Shead was looking like he should have been a 1st rounder

Battle was looking like he should have been drafted

Mogbo looked raw scoring wise but great defensively and had great passing ability

I think we are seeing the difference between young guys playing lots with wins/losses not mattering and this year being slotted into lesser playing time and the pressure to produce well in those lesser minutes.

It's also why teams trying to win, have a harder time developing youth. You can't give them lots of rope. Always exceptions of course. But it's why good teams prefer vets and the reliability they often bring game/game or week to week.

JKW down from 18 mins to 7 mins
Dick down from 29 to 16
Mogbo down 20 to 5
Battle 18 down to 8
Only Shead has maintained from 19.6 to 19.8

But Battle should be getting more play time over Gradey, Walter, and Ochai because his results are there. We struggle to hit 3's yet he is hitting 59%.

Also last year Ochai hit almost 40% from 3, this year is at 9.5% and his mins went from 27 down to 15.

For sure it's disappointing that none of them have stepped up to CLAIM playing time they deserve. It's more throwing them out hoping they can help or and given night.

You can whine about player development, but this is what it looks like. Sometimes bad, sometimes exciting.

ehh, that's mainly cause our starting 5 is so expensive we can't afford solid vets for our bench lol.

Still winning :naaa:

Bench +- is 4th highest in the NBA.

I'm not the one who said Jordan Walsh is better than all our prospects  You like to take snapshot victory laps just as much as anyone.
