Guys settled in after a start full of mistakes, they got more patient on offense and didn't force shots and it changed everything.

RJ is more impactful when he is finishing plays after the defense rotates, not initiating from the perimeter. There are teams that his bully ball works well against, this Cavs defense doesnt seem to be it.

38 points in the 2nd. this team can def pour it in and this is with RJ ice cold. if the defense can stay solid they'll keep up with most any team on the scoreboard.

His stats don't show just how good he has been.
Adding BI and a stretch C in Mamu has really opened things up for everyone.
Now if we would just give Battle Walter's minutes and let Walter go to 905 to find his game.

Pretty amazing honestly, I did not expect that he would have this kind of ceiling as a passer.
The team is steadier and better whenever he's on the court. Think we'll be seeing more two PG lineups if he keeps this up.
Being able to beat your man off the dribble & get paint touches matters if you are a playmaker

* Props to the man, the myth, the legend......TZ.

Feels like the game has slowed down for him. He’s always on balance now. Doesn’t get his steps messed up anymore. Very deliberate. It also helps that he’s not facing a wall whenever he drives anymore — having BI and shooters off the bench opens up space for him to operate.
If I had to nitpick I still hate some of the shots he takes. Sometimes it feels like he’s gets into a “I’m shooting here no matter what” mode.
Also, a guy of his size needs to have more than 3-4 free throws a game. He needs to be shooting 6, 7, 8 times a night at the line

One of the biggest year 1 to year 2 jumps I can remember as a raptor in a long time.
His offense was a train wreck last year. Now he’s averaging 10 assists per 36 and 45% from 3

Barnes has played outstanding this year
BI is a great release valve
Dick has played well last few games
Quick starting to shoot
Shead is our true PG really developed
Mamu great bench player
RJ - hmmm tough think 6 man is his calling
CMB- wish he played tonight he is the real deal
Consolidation trade needed - some size would be great
Speed with the ball ability to break down the D and someone that wants to play D and can

I get that the starters lost their minutes in the 1st quarter, but to be fair the ref was giving the Cavs help.

Scottie at 16points with no 3s made is also a good sign
Edit he's 1/4 but still

P.s. Mobley is simply not comparable to Scottie as a player.
Mobley is purely a complementary player.

After a horrid start of the season Quickley has woken up, he's playing some damn good basket ball and his shot is falling. He's even showing up on defense, great to see.

Yep! I think they outplayed CLE, even if the scoreboard didn’t say so.

It's Quickleys biggest limitation as a lead guard even when he's doing well. It's why I could see a day in the future where it makes more sense to commit to Shead.
I posted this elsewhere but the ratio of Sheads assists that are at the rim is impressive. 32nd in total assists but he's 12th in assists at the rim.
Thats those consistent paint touches leading to those assists at the rim.
