JV's mistake would be an icing on the cake. Casey have a scapegoat - yeaaahhhhhh!!!!

Bleep such headcoaching job. If not Lowry, this team would be picking top 5.

The starting unit+Hayes almost could not rescue the 20 car pile up that was the 4th quarter. I think you have to really know how to use Vasquez and tonight was a lot of more is definitely less. Folks I wouldn't let Salmons see one more minute in a Raps uni. Brutal.

I liked him fine up until he threw the ball to our 3 pt line with 1 second left and a 2 point lead. Incredible quarter of basketball, and not in a good way.

They definitely learnt a lesson today. Good thing it came with a win as well.

Check the news brother, another crack video has released from this weekend. Ford campaign is toast, they're both done.

At least Raps were able to hang in there lol

I'm upset like all of you are about that collapse.

But the other half of me thinks this was good for the team. This team is young, and I'm glad they got this out of their system. Knowing this team, they won't let this happen again during the playoffs.

Raptors up 3-2. We will come out angry for game 6 and will play super hard.

Lets go Raps

Winning tough will help Raptors in the future

Post#508 » by LittleOzzy » Thu May 1, 2014 2:54 am

Feel free to merge this with the post game thread if need be, but I just wanted to say I'm actually happy about how we won tonight.

Yes we made mistakes, yes we blew a big lead, yes we fouled way too much in the 4th, but we also came together, focused and got the very tough win.

If we had won the game tonight in a blowout we may have gone into Brooklyn over confident and blew it. The way we won though will keep the Raptors focused and hungry.

I can't wait to see how the Raptors respond to almost being embarrassed on their home court.

You would think he'd have learned from the previous 4 pt play. I'm confused because in the replay it shoes Johnson running full steam at Anderson, with clear contact. Is he getting paid to throw the game?

To me the 4 point plays were a sign of panic.

Hopefully the guys don't get consumed by how they almost lost. They have to come out with confidence next game. This is where Casey's demeanor is great for the team.

You jest, but I have ridiculously high blood pressure and the only thing on the list that applies to me is being a Raptors fan. Well, and a Leaf fan, so there's that too.

industry_killer wrote:It would not be overconfidence I would be worried about at this point, but no confidence. I honestly feel the nets now have the momentum going into the next game regardless of loosing this game. This game will seep into the raps thinking and destroy the confidence for the coming games. That is just my opinion, I am not trying to be negative just realistic, but this was the worst win I have ever seen the raps . I just don't think they are experienced enough to leave this game at the door of the ACC and not take it to the Barclays centre. I think this might be the first time anyone can say a win has lost you the series.

are you kidding me??? if the raptors had that mentality, they wouldn't be UP 3-2 RIGHT NOW? that's so ridiculous... if the raptors are that rattled after WINNING a game, just because they BLEW A LEAD, they DON'T DESERVE TO BE IN THE NBA PLAYOFFS! but guess what, we're here... and we've earned it... and we've shown why we deserve to be here.

Yeah I think you're forgetting some stuff in between that and our 25 point lead. We looked entirely ball-less for most of that quarter.

I thought they totally turned off their intensity particularly Amir and Vas, thinking the game was done then you add JJ being on-fire...bad mix! but we still survived it!!

Vasquez got too cocky when he came in for Lowry. Dude watche Lowry have a monster game and got jelly, and started playing like a moron.
