God bless us with the #1 pick (Flagg) Please. It changes this franchise’s projection completely

I don’t mind #2 (Harper) either

Flagg changes the entire context of this team. Having 2 6'8 athletic beasts at the forward spots puts us on the trajectory for a top defense and we have a lot of shooting at the guard spots.

Flagg would save us

VJ Edgecombe vs Iowa State (4 points, 1-9 FG, 0-3 3FG, 7 boards, 4 assists, 4 steals, 36 MIN)

VJ and Egor shooting themselves out of top4 potentially.

Fears
Jak

Jak clears Fears for me. Shooting better with better size too. Fears is more athletic, but KJ is a better passer and more easily play next to another guard. Fears reminds me of IQ a little actually

I hope there’s an enthusiastic Poeltl buyer in this time frame. Ideally before we face NOP/WAS/CHI in those three games following ATL. I like the guy and what he brings just not right now. We can chase him in two years time when we’re ready.

I cant hate that. I have them on the same tier and like Fear's halfcourt creation more than Jak's shooting, but i wouldnt argue either over the other

I think he'd just end up at best as Tristan DaSilva with more play-making.

Playing tougher competition has him possibly outside of the top 10.

Agreed with that, but if Harper is the all-star guard he looks like, that would save us too.

We can draft 2 defensively strong prospects in 2026 after likely being a bad team again with the same awful defence and rookie guards just aren't efficient. Then you move RJ + Dick/Walter and some future 1sts for a good defensive wing in 2026/27 when he's expiring. Like this type of thing, let's say we get Trey Murphy for an expiring RJ, Dick and a couple of 1sts:

Poeltl- 2026 INDY
Barnes- 2026 TOR
Murphy - Agabji
Harper - Dick/Walter
Quickley - Harper - MLE

Mogbo, Shead and Chomche all have defensive upside as cheap guys in the 10-12 spots in the rotation, maybe Mogbo can learn to hit a corner 3 or Chomche can just be straight good defensively as a mobile shotblocker as a backup 5 type, even if he's a very low usage offensive player.

Any kind of legit all-star would make me happy, from the Jruest of Holidays to the Traeest of Youngs. Ultimately, while I like him, Quickley is movable too if BPA is a small PG, so if the Fears people get their wish for instance.

Labaron’s drives + floaters remind me of Shai a bit.

He's more of a cerebral glue guy that happens to be a great athlete. Weak handle. Weak scorer. I see him as a top 6 player on a winning team, but not a star.

Andre Iguodala was always a guy that scaled up horribly but eventually found his place on high level winners. Edgecombe looks like he could do that.

Flagg with 24 pts, 11 rebs, 3 ast, 1 stl and 2 blks, shooting 7 for 12 (8 for 8 FT and 2 for 2 from deep)

Is he a very athletic Christian Laettner with bigger wingspan?

Rich man's Franz Wagner on defense, poor man's Franz Wagner on offense
