You'd have to give up either Ed or Demar for Paul George.

I'd try to do it without the 2nd rounder (next year's draft class is supposed to be good, I would hate to see someone good slip through and not be in a position to draft them). But other than that, sure, why not. We'd create a bit of a logjam with James Johnson/Martell/Kleiza though (I suppose you could move Martell to backup SG, but I think he might be better than the other guys at SF.

To TOR: Maggette + Flynn + Pekovic + #2
To MIL: Bargnani + Ridnour
To MIN: Calderon + Dooling + #5 + #10

MIN gets a mentor for Rubio in Calderon, they move down to fill a need with either Biyombo or Val at #5 and select Burks at #10 filling their SG need.

Toronto moves up to get D.Williams while getting Flynn in the process

MIL gets Bargnani beside Bogut and compete for the playoffs next year. They get a vet backup in Ridnour which they wanted to address is a backup for Jennings.

Calderon / Rubio / Dooling
Johnson / Burks / Ellington
Beasley / Webster / Hayward
Love / Randolph / Faried (#20)
Darko / Val / Tolliver

Jennings / Ridnour
Salmons / SG
Delfino / Ersan
Bargnani / Gooden / Brockman
Bogut / Sanders
______________________________________________________________________________________________
other trades would need to be made but.

Bayless / Flynn
Derozan / Barbosa
Williams / Johnson / Klezia / Maggette
Davis / Amir
C / Pekovic / Alabi

or would you draft Kanter?

Also, not Polish and in fact am jewish and the grandson of concentration camp survivors from a camp that was in Poland. So not exactly a big fan of poles.

I wouldn't trade the fifth for Gortat. Although it's fair enough. This team needs to rebuild and take a chance on unproven talent. Plus don't discount the Nash factor when looking at Gortat's numbers. Also your comment about Poles is misplaced. Pretty sure they didnt' want the concentration camps either. I visited Auschwitz and did a tour there. The first camp prisoners were Polish rebels. They have the unfavourable distinction of being in the middle of Germany and Russia. Which wasn't so great in WW2.

The more I think about it, the more it angers me that BC did not get Beasley in return for Bosh. Screw the damn TPE. Make Kahn look like a genius for trading a 2nd round pick for him, now getting like 5times as much on the dollar.

Probably Jose, Bargs, and Alabi for Marvin Williams, Zaza P, and Hinrich. I think it works for all teams involved.

Everyone proposing trades including Paul George are forgetting the fact that they aren't trading him.

I like Davis and the 5th for Bogut and the 10th.

I think Bucks will only do Davis and 5th for Bogut if anything, and YES I still do that.

leave out James Johnson and Fernandez and make it Nic+#21 for #5 (and Weems, if for some reason they want to s&t for him). I think James Johnson would look good coming off the bench behind Nic. Then we look to move Kleiza.

Would rather keep the 10th or get another asset back.

Yeah, I probably would as well. A number of Bucks fans were into Bogut for Davis and #5 as well. Bogut would compliment Bargnani and vice versa.

I'd hate to give up Davis and his potential, but Bogut is one of the few legit defensive anchors in the league. A frontcourt of Bogut/Bargs/Amir could be pretty good. I still worry about Bogut's injury concerns, and I feel like the value isn't quite there--- I would want to try tweaking it a bit to get Jennings as well.

What about Bogut+Jennings+Gooden for Davis+#5+Jose+Alabi+TPE(used to absorb Gooden) ?

Bogut/Amir
Bargs/Gooden
J.Johnson/Kleiza
DeMar/(Weems? Barbosa?)
Jennings/Bayless

I think that's a pretty talented, balanced young team (aside from maybe SF, but I think we can get by with James Johnson for a year and possibly land one of the quality SFs in next year's draft (Gilchrist/Miller/Barnes/P.Jones ... or if not one of them, then at least Terrence Jones/Adonis Thomas/LeBryan Nash).

To TOR: Brandon Jennings + Corey Maggette + GSW 2012 1st Round Pick
To UTA: Jose Calderon + #5
To MIL: Devin Harris + Linas Klezia + #12

UTA gets Knight & Kanter.

MIL replaces Jennings with Harris and grabs #12 to have #10 and #12

TOR grabs a young PG whos best friends with Demar and a 2012 1st rounder and stocks up that way.

Harris / PG (Ersan Trade)
Salmons / Thompson
Delfino / Klezia
Thompson / Gooden
Bogut / Sanders

Jennings / Bayless
Derozan / Barbosa
Johnson / Maggette
Davis / Amir
Bargnani / C (FA)

Knight / Calderon
Bell / FA
Hayward / Miles / Evans
Favors / Millsap
Jefferson / Kanter / Okur

^^^ I like the above trade.

I'd love to try and do a straight up deal with Denver of Andrea Bargnani for Danilo Gallinari. Imo we can probably sell Bargnani to them as a better fit on their team. If they resign Wilson Chandler, then they have the small forward position shored up, and Bargnani can act as a stretch four: the perfect compliment to Nene at center. Gallinari helps stretch the floor for us at the 3 spot, making him very different from DeRozan in a good way. He's not just a pure shooter though, as he shot about 6 or 7 free throws a game last season.

^^ Love the trade RO7, but who has golden states pick? I don't think we can justify getting another pick and Jennings by dumping Calderon and injured (and coming off a tough year) Kleiza - why do you think we can get that?

How about:

To Toronto: #12 and Devin Harris

-cap savings from pick swap and PG swap
-better defense, penetrator of PG

To Utah: #5 and Jose Calderon

-Utah moves up and gets vet PG

Harris/Bayless
DeRozan/Barbosa
J.Johnson/Kleiza
Davis/A.Johnson/Dorsey
Bargnani/Oden/Biyombo/Alabi

Or Fredette or whoever falls to #12. Cap savings help us sign Oden (should free up another $2mil+)
