Can somebody doctor the logo so that the lettering and basketball is in gold (using Drake's OVO colour scheme)?

I will say this though. For all your people complaining.....I've seen threads where you guys create your own logos and jersey concepts. Generally there's a "nice work" comment or whatever to be nice....but I wouldn't use ANY of these ideas just because you can do some crappy photoshop in your basement. The logo that came out today may not be your cup of tea, but it's way better the amateur hour I've seen in RealGM. You can have no graphic talent....well...aside from that dude who made that cool 20th anniversary mural

DH, I think we along with some other notable long time posters/fans echo that same opinion...

Sure it could have been maybe more creative and some people may feel it is bland but here are the positives of simplicity...

-Very easy to take that logo and mix and match it with whatever colour you like... If you think that t-shirts and hats won't be available in Barney purple or ovo gold then you are sadly mistaken. This lets differencing opinions rep the eras, or own style of the Raps they want to.

-Corporate logos on jerseys are coming to NBA sooner rather then later and the simplicity (ala Europeon Soccer Clubs) allow that to be implemented without it looking even more Gaudy then what it would with some overdone, multicolour, heavy design look

-Speaks Professionialism... If you want to be taken seriously not only as a business but also as a culture for your basketball operations you don't want incoming free agents thinking hey I want to play for the team with cartoon mockery logo

-Finally for us older individuals who may not want to walk around with a basketball jersey on will allow us to wear a polo, golf shirt, or zip with the incoming logo that would not make us look like we some fanatic that is trying to hang on to his youth and to not be taken seriously...

Overall... Overall I'm pretty high on the "meh" scale cause a lot of what I asked for, stayed... Wanted simplicity and professionalism. (Wearable).. Rather we stayed with our current scheme then go to gold or purple (Tradition)... Lacks creativity but at least they didn't F it up...

True.

Raps' fanbase are talented and all, but all the ideas so far have been abysmal. The only one I liked from that mega rebranding thread is that Huskies concept.

This forum is definitely used as part of the market research as pointed out earlier. 'Need to wait for the full unveiling to gauge things properly.

I like that logo. Just put Toronto in the same style as Toronto fc at the bottom and there you go. The footprint is so good. With that being said, the logo they created will look nice on hats etc.

The logo presented today has no creativity or artistic value so I'm not sure why you're acting like it's some kind of masterpiece. I have seen many better looking ideas presented on this board that put this one to shame.

Forget Photoshop, I think this thing was made in Paint.

yeah a great design shop made it for Brooklyn. It's not the design it's the remarkable similarity to a team they played the night before.

I think people are being hard on the design. Its a nice clean design that gets the point across. I think it looks dope. It's been growing on me all day.
