thats going to be an intriguing one.

Kuminga is likely going to try prove everyone wrong, esp to Barnes, since he got drafted ahead of him. hope Barnes is ready for whats coming. I hope Barnes shuts Kuminga down too.

Put Wainwright and Champagnie on Kuminga and see if he can move them / get by them.

Put Barnes on Moody and see if he can get any shot off.

ya I can see Barnes on both Moody and Kuminga. Moutumbo is going to challenge Barnes on the defensive end I hope.

but from what we've heard from last game (Barnes was mic'd up), Barnes calling out the defense, making sure that guys are in the right place. and he's asking and taking advice from the coaches on where and how to play. I'm loving from what Ive been seeing from him in terms of leadership and taking it all in as a kid in summer league.

Barnes has stuff no one has, which is why he's speical. The length, energy, and passion to want to defend is a weapon we have that very few do if any

The way he picks up full court, that steal when he realized the centre had to pass to the guard, the Basketball IQ there, he's going to cause hell for the other team.

I love that you are playing both sides of the field. one day you say he sucks after claiming watching extensive video replays of him in college. and after one summer league game, best thing since sliced bread.

whats the point of a 7'3" wingspan if you can't take advantage of it? 8-)

I mean to be fair - for the highly sensitive and overreaction crowd - he barely won the tip off (lmao), missed an almost-routine alley-oop (that a real big man would have thrown down), aka just wasn't ready for it - at the beginning - and he air-balled a 3 pointer to start the game.

after his top of the elbow jumper, he was settled in. I mean that is probably an unstoppable scoring spot for him if he perfects that. catch the ball up high with his freakish length and shoot it over the defender.

lmao that is also true.

have a post for every rookie, "this __(insert player name)___ is amazing, calling it now!"

and another one for every top lottery pick:

"this __(insert player name)___ is a bust, calling it now!"

quote yourself 3-4 years from now, look like a genius lmao.

Jericho Sims had a good game against an undersized Raptors team. Made him look really good. Got a two way contract with the Knicks. would have taken a flyer on him if the Knicks had let him go to free agency.

needs more seasoning for sure but his energy and athleticism is a good base to work with.

Flynn was making a lot of tough contested shots, which is is impressive, but I notice he was missing a lot of passes to open players in order to take those tough shots. Maybe his focus was just on shotmaking this game, but hopefully he becomes a better floor general. Scottie was clearly the better playmaker this game.
