This is the type of game where we would be down 20+ last season. Found a way to keep it in striking distance though.

Isn't that supposed to be what BI brings?

It's more that he can get a reasonable look with his handle and jumper in broken-play scenarios and such. He's not really a "high rim pressure" player.

As bad as we played if we hit a few open shots and cut down on turnovers and actually boxed out I think we can still win this game.

Hawks look like they want it more tonight though and I hate our weird combination of short and weak players combined with a random 6'9 player.. no wonder why we keep getting destroyed on boards and always a step slow.

I hope somehow this can be closer to the new normal for IQ. Helps both if we riding out his contract or hoping to trade him

It still feels like we can run away with the 2nd half.

BI is more of a mid range guy. Quickly and Shead are our north-south guys but the Hawks have so much length and athleticism that our guards don't know what to do once they get near the basket.

The first team to get hot from 3 will win this. It can us if we utilize IQ and Battle off ball and stop playing RJ.

Possibly a Second half adjustment, don't give the Hawks first half preview.

People love rationalizing stupid decisions. That’s like saying let’s not play ingram kn the first half and save him as a surprise attack for the second half.

Darko isn’t doing this as a tactic, he just values other players over battle which is absolutely stupid.

Still. He should be the one to bail us out, when our offense gets stuck. But i wont be to hard on him. This season he has delievered and like RJ, he is allowed to have an offgame.

feels like the team took Atlanta too lightly after what happened the first game.

Hawks aren't exactly shooting lights out, and have Krejci and Gueye as part of their rotation tonight. I like our chances.

I think it would be enough, if the raps stop making stupid mistakes.

Lets be honest, ATL themselves didnt managed to exploit it more.

Plus Young isn't playing. It's not uncommon for good teams to take it easy in the first half against a depleted team and then turn it on in the second. Problem is, I don't know if we're good enough for that kind of bs

Why the hell won’t Darko play Battle?!

Especially when no one is making shots, we NEED someone who can hit something

I thought not playing Ochai last game was a matchup thing but I guess not. To me this is a game to play him over Jakobe.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Of course, but we didn't fully melt down either. Couldn't have played any worse really offensively.

The 3 point shot is too important. It'll open up the rest of our offense, stop their transition offense, and make them go small.
