I think it's irrelevant. I think more relevant is, if we sit him now, will he ever become a good center? And I think the answer is no.

And I think if Sam had to choose between winning now or in 2010, he'd choose 2010 because no way we're winning the NBA championship in 2008.

Any coach with half a brain has to try to win every game they coach. Coaches get fired far too often to think that they should work towards winning a championship 2 or 3 years down the road.

Also, I don't see why it's so far fetched that Sam would have been told by BC to play Bargnani more this year... he was told the exact same thing last year.

So my reasoning is, regardless of whether you agree with it or not, is that Sam, who wants to win now, would prefer to play the best players (the best players now, no matter the age). So if Bargs is playing, and Bargs is not the best player now, then someone must have told Sam to play Bargs. Someone more concerned about the future. Like BC.

Although I think TJ is the man, when Jose got that pass out beyond the arc, I was glad it was him rather than TJ.

Man Roy would be perfect for this team. I don't care if he wouldn't be as good right now if he were with us, he would still be perfect.

They ARE winning now. Check the standings. Any coach that wins now at the expense of the future won't be in the league too long.
