your joking right.... the mother f*cker is soft and a big man jump shooter not to mention he almost singly handidly lost the game for UNC at the end with 2 bone head plays (trying to block a 3 from under the basket, trying to catch a half court heave and missing the catch)

Irving's got good FT shooting pose too...man he's a total package, can score, can pass, can rebound, can steal, can shoot, can dribble, can lead! But damn the injury-prone curse!

His dad probably told him to play for Coach K

No, he's not playing PG, Quinn Cook is playing the PG.

And to further that who in this draft do you see with what you describe?

I think we need to get lucky. But at a minimum, I dont want to pick somebody that creates a situation where we 'develop' them and get nowhere.

Well that goes without saying but to say Kemba doesn't have the necessary upside to make us a 50 win team is just ridiculous. I think his skill set is HIGHLY transferable to the NBA game, you can't teach explosiveness. He is a shot maker and a penetrator, those skills are extremely important in the NBA today especially if done with unmatched quicks. He's undersized but can absorb contact well, he's not too dissimilar to TJ Ford or even Rondo in terms of speed and size. I like him if we lose out on the Irving sweepstakes and also if we select 5th or lower

Memo: if you didn't realize, Irving is a scoring point guard first. His playmaking skills are vastly overrated.

I continue to be dumbfounded at the undieing hype this guy receives. His team is very good and I just don't see the natural skills being #1 pick worthy.

2 expiring vets that help now. A young big to add to the Scottie timeline
I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

LOL the league is all about scoring PG's dude!! hahaha!

Rose
Paul
Westbrook
Williams
Wall
Curry
Parker

All look to score.

If you watch how the NBA is played now its all about hand checking rules which makes quick guards all the more dangerous. The game is catered to quick guards now which is why you're seeing PG's scoring more.

Yup...

Irving is amazing in every way...the guy really doesn't have a flaw... Maybe injury prone but thats yet to be proved.

I realize you are deeply confused and mistaken. Have you watched the first 8 games? He was finding open shooters, passing to the right people on fast break, dribble drive drawing another defender and passing to an open big man down low. He was doing alot of these sequences in those games. Don't tell me you base it on this and last game, he was coming back after few months, trying to ease his way back into the rotation, it's gonna take him time to get back to his play making ability. And for starter, please look at the elite scouting reports dude.

I don't care what list you out up there, he's still not #1 pick worthy just like 95% of the names of posted. Brandon Knight equates to a equal grade to Irving and possesses measurables and quickness advantage over Irving.

But I'll let you all fawn over his every move. I'm a Cavs fan and they do the same thing. I just hope the GMs are smarter than the average fan.

LOL, now you're using Brandon Knight as comparison. Dude has major lack of playmaking ability, is out of control, shoots first mentality...............

And congratulation on being the fan of the worst team in the league
