We need Kemba. He's the next Allen Iverson/Arenas type guard.

Add that type to the Offense only center, and you have my 2 least favorite types of player.

Yay.

I agree with Palms about the AI type players sucking big wangs, but think that Kemba is not a true AI me first player.

He hasn't been one in the past, was way more pass oriented but by necessity started jacking.

^^ I like what he brings, but at #5 I think it's clear you gotta go with one of the bigs or PGs imo. I wouldn't mind picking him up with an additional pick though--if you feel confident that his shooting is going to be ok, taking this kid would be step towards legitimately improving the defensive talent we have on our roster. Although really, next year's crop of SFs look a lot better imo.

Funny thing is his style of play actually reminds me of James Johnson...The difference between the two probably Leonard is a better rebounder and defensive stopper (due to long arms) while JJ is a better dribbler and distributor.

Alec Burks looks turrible in that 'highlight' sequence.

"Here he is getting called for a charge..."

Williams is going 2nd to a team that trades up or 3rd to the Jazz. Kanter is perfect to go with Love in the front court. The Jazz will have then probably had the best draft hitting the jackpot twice when they moved to 3 and then Williams falls to them. The trifecta is complete when they draft Vesely or Biyomba or Jimmer at number 12.

The more I hear BC speak the more I realize he's not drafting Walker and maybe even Kanter. He wants defensive guys and personnel to coach them. That leaves it to Knight, Leonard, JV (potential). Vesely I'm not sure but he may be gone before our pick.

Excited for: Knight, Kanter (outside of Irving and Derrick Williams)

Okay with: Kemba Walker, Jonas Val.

Be pissed with: Kawhi, Bismack, Vesley (unless we trade down, which will be okay)

I am not sure Leonard is a better defender.
James Johnson is slightly quicker on the agility test, way better on vertical (no step or max, similar standing reach.
I think James Johnson would be a better rebounder and shot blocker (better at help defense), while Leonard is slightly better at locking down players (better at man defense because of experience).

I would rather have James Johnson because of his passing game and basketball IQ to play as a team.

No - Leonard is a better rebounder. No question. JJ has better passing game and probably better BBIQ.

Leonard is in better shape which suggests a harder worker.

They're similar in stature but different games. JJ is Diawish like someone said. Leonard is more of a mucker, Haslem and Crash like. They're both versatile but in a different way. Depends on what you want to focus on - offense or defense - given we already have Kleiza.

I think James Johnson is a better rebounder.
His no-step vert is 30 instead of 25 of Leonard. That would be huge on getting rebounds.
