actually one of his better games of the year. considering he was a top 10 pick at one point in the past year for the 2013 draft on nbadraft.net he really dropped off. hopefully that injury at the beginnning of the year just screwed with him and he goes strong next year

Did Andrew Nicholson secure a spot in the first round with his strong finish?
Chad Ford (1:22 PM)
I think so. Somewhere between 20-30.

Stanford won the NIT title! Always nice to see Canadians have some team success.
Dwight Powell had 7 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks in 19 minutes.

NCAA Basketball - Canadian Edition
We should really create a Canadians in the NBA thread after this year's draft but until then...
Kelly Olynyk had a 25/12/3 assist line tonight. Was curious to see how he's been doing offensively on the year for Team Canada reasons. The TS% has to come way up but his per minute stats beyond that are interesting and a little reminiscent of Brad Miller or Spencer Hawes when they were younger. That's not super exciting if he's your starting C in the NBA (especially defensively) but by the time Wiggins and Stauskas and company are competing together he should be a solid finesse C and his style of play seems well suited to the International game.
Canada basketball can't only think about what Team USA will do to us. We have to think about what we might be able to do against everybody else and Olynyk will help us against countries that won't exploit his weaknesses as much as the US will.
