Is it not hilarious?

People jump at the first non European C prospect and assume he's got 20-10 potential.

He was dominating dudes in high school... But im just wondering why people still think he's gonna go top 2 even tho he's been **** the bed all year

OJ Mayo was too. He has done nothing, and should stay back next year when Lamb leaves.

Jeremy Lamb looks like he is 6`5.5 but he has a 7`1 wingspan plus has elite athleticism... Him and Derozan at the wing.... mmm :)

Still liking MKG over Lamb. You can't teach heart. But a jumpshot can be.

Why have two wings who can`t shoot the three consistently. One can be taught to shoot, practiced to be a shooter but doesn`t necessarily mean they will turn out to be a good shooter. Why have two uncertainties in derozan and MKG, why not draft proven scorers and natural shooters like LAmb or Barnes

Not that I'm on the Lambwagon.....but you also can't teach talent nor have I seen anything that indicates that Lamb has no heart.

I remember reading that his wingspan is around 7'4"...so kind of like Batum body-wise

Maybe he can grow 2 inches like Paul George. Just look at the player he's looking to become. 2-way players are RARE!

If Lamb somehow magically grows an inch or two a la Paul George it would be a Raptors draft miracle!

I like Lamb. I think he's good at creating for himself. Butterful jumper as well. I'm unsure as to how that talent will translate at the next level (see Evan Turner) It's tricky when trying to decipher these types of players (Wing guards) unless they are completely dominating (like Durant or Wade were) I feel MKG's skills (defense, rebounding, passing) are ones that can translate well to the next level. His attitude can also make him elite in improving on the offensive end.

Freshman MKG looks better than Lamb did as a frosh.

2012 draft may be even deeper than advertised...

Post#553 » by bill russell » Thu Dec 29, 2011 4:42 am

Doug Gottlieb just posted his big board on espn. He's got Tyler Zeller at UNC going 30. Austin Rivers at Duke going 20. Terrence Jones at Kentucky at 14. Jared Sullinger of Ohio State at 11. If any of those four had come out last year they could of gone top 5. Anthony Davis of Kentucky is fourth behind Andre Drummond of UConn, Harrison Barnes, and Perry Jones. I can't ever remember a draft with this kind of depth. Ever.

it's on insider: http://insider.espn.go.com/mens-college ... -big-board

Mods may want to merge this with raptors draft thread but i think it's a broader story than the raptors.

Perry Jones #1? Fail. I'm done. Good effort by you to post it up though bill russell. Doug Gottlieb just sucks lol.

Any journalist putting Perry Jones as the #1 pick automatically loses credibility in my opinion.

How did my boy Quincy Miller aka Mr. Easy do tonight?

I still don't understand how Barnes is being hyped up around here still.... IMO its a two man race at the wing between MKG and Lamb for bpa at 3 spot. Barnes is a poor man's michael redd.

actually if he pans out and realizes his potential redd would be a good ceiling for him.

+1

MKG is underrated offensively, he is explosive offensively, looking to drive aggressively and plays patiently, and has good court vision too, and he has a high bbiq too. dude doesnt shoot well but he does everything else at a very GOOD rate.

He`s okay, but he wasnt involved offensively despite scoring efficiently in 1st half, i dont think he even got a touch at all in final 7-8 mins since the most PATHETIC guard Pierre Jackson chucks every shot and going 1 on 5 every possession.

MKG... the guy's making me a believer. Lamb is a good scorer, but MKG can score, defend, and better rebounder. Plus is a SF the whole package.
