The celts bring back IT who will be extremely demoralized, plus his value will be depleted with all the talk about his hip. I heard even his wife helped recruit GH's wife, so being moved and then sent back should be fun to watch from afar.
Not to mention Crowder, who is no star player but a damn good role player on a steal of a contract. He'll almost certainly have to be moved given all the history with GH, and he's at least a player capable of keeping up with the Lebrons, Durants, Georges, etc. Now he'll be traded separately for peanuts if the celts don't offer IT compensation.
Even though it's risky to lose that BKN pick it seems the cavs are in the drivers seat here. Will be interesting seeing what they choose to do. Keep the Boston package as is if Ainge won't budge, and keep it mainly for the BKN pick. Or rescind the deal based on the physical and Boston unwilling to compensate, and try to get different win-now pieces to appease Lebron, knowing it's unlikely to get another pick like the one Boston traded them. Fun times.
As much as I hate Celts, I hate Dan Gilbert as NBA owner more. Best scenario is deal gets canned, cavs are in disarray for most of season as trade rumour swirls, Celtics lose team cohesion as its best player is unmotivated... then celtics get top 3 pick next year and cavs somehow lose kyrie for peanuts due to dan gilbert's intervetion...
