Yes pay cut because he is 1 year closer to retirement and is declining. 25M is not unreasonable for his age 35 season, but no way anyone wants to guarantee him 25M for age 36.

I don't think teams are going to haggle over 2/50 vs. say 2/45 or something when they're in win now mode. They want Lowry for this playoff run and next.

A 25M expiring is not that hard to move. They can probably put his contract in a deal for a disgruntled star even. It's Pat Riley. :lol:

I wouodnt mind making a deal for herro+ filler + FRPs to miami for both lowry and powell but miami doesnt have that many picks to work with unless we’re going 5+ years out

I mean we had Lowry once for 4 years and 48 mill not too long ago, and he was an all NBA and 4 time all star during that period. That's pretty good value.
