Probably not -- there was some really ugly stuff in the low scoring 90s.

Just googled it and found some article from 2003. So it could be worse now.

But at that time, the lowest in the first half was 19 points by the LA Clippers in 1999.
And in 2003 the Raptors scored 23 in the first half against Washington.

The Kevin O''Neill and Jay Triano edition Raptors say HELLO!

Way to COMPLETELY miss the point of the conversation.

Will is saying this is how we play against good teams, and just completely ignores the good play we had over the past couple weeks.

But why am I not surprised by the Will, Ali, and Reeko combo

Games like this one here happen. First game back after a road trip. It’s the classic trap game

You're laughing at us, yet you're using losses as a measuring stick to point out how good we are. Whatever man.
Close losses against top teams are far more of a measuring stick than taking a beatdown against Casey's Pistons and a brutal half against a team shooting lights out in our first game home after a long road trip. Are you seriously trying to say otherwise?

notice how the usual suspects in the FVV van club are quiet about FVV's poor play - 0 criticism.

Wow. Completely missed the first half.

From the boxscore it looks like we're not playing offense or defense. Are we the Oilers now? Is Lewenberg going to ask why Siakam sounds so pissy?

Toronto is a 'play-in' team to the truest extent. They play their way into games thinking they can make comebacks every game because they can turn up the defense as needed in the third.

The problem is they will have more of these losses and end up a play-in team if they keep playing this style.

This year the obvious issue is that this team doesn't have the talent to coast. If they don't outwork a team it gets ugly. Down 30 to Blazers is time for a players-only meeting.

At the beginning of the season I said we were a 35 to 44 win team (left untouched) and I haven't really veered off that. I do swing in between those two goalposts (the 35 win team vs a 44 win team) quite a bit. Like tonight.

Especially against their zone we need this.

I don't understand, in 2019 Nurse shocked the league with his zones and combo defenses. How can a coach like that not have a good zone offense?
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

I never said that we were this bad, but using close losses isn't the best way to prop up the argument that we're really good.

By being a play in team, it takes them out of the lottery and an opportunity to add to their core going forward.

Which is a shame for the sake of playoff 'experience'.

I think these guys need the all star break ASAP. the way Nurse plays his guys, they need a week off every 2-3 weeks lmao.

Embarrassing, Trent is a overpaid chucker with no talent, he needs to come off the bench. And move Fred to sg (pre 2021) and get another true creative point guard. Whole bench is just laughable, every team has some names or some role players with a lil bit of talent. Raptors bench is just utter trash, svi, yuta... Those guys wouldn't even crack a top 12 spot in every other roster, it says a lot about this team when you miss khem Birch on the court, khem freaking birch. Oh and masai **** up, with that precious/dragic trade. Not one of them is playable.

You think this team is going to finish with the 5th or 6th seed? Play-in bound for sure.

He has been terrible, but so has everyone else aside from Boucher. If this was a close game where everyone was at least playing decent and FVV was chucking his way to 2/12 shooting at half, there would rightly be a lot of complaints about FVV. Picking out one guy who has been taking mostly open shots or pull-up threes off of screens is dumb though. FVV is 2/12 with 9 points while the rest of the starters are 4/27 with 12 points.

Running your players into ground has a cumulative impact. Take note for those who don't think it's a big deal
Organization can be defined as an organized body of people with a particular purpose. Not random.
