You're assuming the Kings would have preferred Siakam. Sabonis is younger I believe and was cheaper. Plus a better passer. I doubt that Masai would have made the deal if it was available though.

They always preferred Sabonis, he also fits more what they were trying to do. Also Sabonis was younger.

It’s too late now, Murphy is most likely going to be better than him within a season or 2.

Yeah tougher now cause OG is getting 35+ AAV next summer too hard to comitt that much for a guy who while being maybe the best perimeter defender in the NBA looks like a JV player every 3rd game on offense.
