I just check the scores every night to make sure all Canadian Achilles tendons and ACLs are in tact. So far so good. Well on our way on the road to gold

Sengun put up 23/19/14 against the Clippers in a competitive game.

That draft class has become a two man race between scotty and Alperin. Seems fair to say they left everyone else in the dust at this point. I still think scotty has the more upside. Sengun's game depends alot on having a good point guard whereas scotty is moreso a jack of all trades. But Sengun's more focused skill set could prevail long term too.

Rockets control brooklyn's draft picks for the next 4 summers unprotected. I'm so jealous.

^^^Bucks vs GSW. But I don't even remember the play it was not memorable and I was nearing the end of my wine by then. Definitely not worthy of consideration as a flagrant is what I recall. Which it was not called in the end. I'll remember to expand upon my post next time. : )

According to EPM, Wagner is still the best player in the class. I doubt the Magic trade either Suggs or Wagner for either. Case could be made for Suggs, but his improvement has been huge each year.

epm
Franz Wagner 3.5
Alperen Sengun 2.9
Herbert Jones. 2.4
Evan Mobley. 2.4
Scottie Barnes. 2.3
Jalen Suggs. 2.2

You don't think the Magic would trade Suggs or Wagner for either Barnes or Sengun? Just on a value perspective?

I didn't go back and find it but a few weeks ago at least one poster was questioning the broadcasting of Walt Clyde Frazier. I and others tried to explain what an institution he is in the Big Apple, and how he and Mike Breen are the best local announcing team there is. Here's an article that makes it clear. Longish read.

I am a guest here and am not here to argue. I am just providing some data that not everyone takes a look at. EPM, commonly considered the best of the highly suspect general figures of merit for NBA players, considers Wagner the best player from his class.

This passes the eye test also and the "win test". Wagner is currently the 2nd option on the #4 seed in the East. The schedule favors the Magic at staying in the 4th seed (if not moving up) as 12 of their final 18 games are at home where they have a very high win percentage.

Suggs is a little more difficult case to make. He is one of the top perimeter defenders in the NBA, shooting 40% from 3 and the 3rd option on the team. I would argue that what makes Suggs so valuable is that his vector of improvement is off the charts positive. The question is when will the improvement curve flatten?

If he adds elite ball handling to elite defense and shooting, then I would argue he is more valuable than Wagner.

Suggs and Wagner are both very difficult cases to make, and Suggs is nigh on impossible. No one is going to use EPM, for example, Weltman's just going to yell "deal" into the phone and then start high fiving people.
