yes, if they aren't scoring, they aren't contributing much else to their team (I didn't say nothing)

1. Bobcats2. Cavs3. Raptors So I have Bobcats taking Anthony Davis. Cavs taking Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Raptors taking Brad Beal. There you go.

What's funny is that I had lunch with Terrence Ross' agent yesterday. We talked about every possible scenario. Toronto never came up.

B-Beal or D-Waiters. Our future will be decided.

Don't think I've seen your thoughts on improving the lottery process. If you were in charge, what changes, if any, would you make to the system to limit the blatant tanking in recent years?

One change. I would tie each team's draft odds to their record over the past 3 seasons -- not just the last one. I think that would seriously curtail the incentive to tank a season. Now teams would be forced to commit to three years of tanking before they got their reward and then several more years of being very bad before they could add enough talent. That's too high of a price to pay for most teams and would force them to be more competitive. Ideally, the team with the worst record in the NBA has 25 or 30 wins ... not 15.

Actually, this is one of the best ideas I've heard.

Meh. At the end of the day, I really don't think MKG and Beal will go ahead of Drummond and (my fave) Robinson. That said, "Hey, we're getting T-Rob! Pack your bags, Bargs!"

It's strange how Chad Ford feels we are drafting at 3 and getting Beal but he still says that D-Waiters is the best guy for us.

He ran the simulator and we ended up with the 3rd pick. He chose Beal, because he probably thinks Beal is a better prospect than Waiters. Makes total sense.

I've been driving the Waiters sleeper wagon for a while, but at 8 is a stretch. He literally needs to be my prediction of DWade lite for that to be a good pick.

nmabdi28 wrote:Lamb (UCONN)

Why am I dropping in so many mock drafts?
Chad Ford (2:26 PM)

No one is dropping yet. Too early. Some teams really like Lamb as a Top 10 pick. Others are concerned about whether Lamb's motor runs hot enough. Not sure they want another Corey Brewer in the Top 10. Workouts between him, Austin Rivers, Dion Waiters and Terrence Ross will determine this. All are bunched together pretty close.

ahahahahhaa

ford compared lamb to corey brewer

LMAO, that's like the worst comparison I've ever heard. I swear to go Ford just gets the general opinions hammered at him by scouts/GMs to the point where he's influence to like/not like the, and then after that he just comes up with successes or busts that fit the position and doesn't think past that.
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change

People gotta lay off the Lamb blinders for a second man. When Ford praises someone you like, yea that prospect is worth the hype, then when he says something critical hes an idiot.

Absolutely I would. There are lots of solid players in this draft, no need to settle for Lamb if other options are still available. I like AD (obviously), Beal, Robinson, MKG, Waiters and maybe Lillard and Barnes, ahead of Lamb.

Ford has been a Beal nutgrabber the entire year so I'm not surprised he chose Beal for us @3 but...I'm quite surprised if Cavs takes MKG over Beal considering Cavs needs a good secondary scorer at the wing.

Beal at 3 and Waiters at 8, was Ford's point. I think...
