tbh, i was expecting a loss this game but God help this team if they lose the next game (we can't go down 0-2)- at least they didnt blown out like the pacers did them in 1st game..again this series will go to 6 or 7 games..either the heat will win in game 6 or raptors will win in game 7.

i think KL performance will be the key here in this series...he has to perform. I'm not sure why he takes those 3pt shots - no FTAs this game...thats has to change...this is 2nd rd of playoffs not regular reason for goodness sake..

so youre fine with 30 pts on 32 shots aswell?

They moved away from JV and they blew the later assignment on Dragic. OT was a complete fluke. Miami looks like a team that if we were to run against them and get back we could dominate. Casey has them convinced they blow defensive assignments if they push the ball. ATTACK!

I would like to discuss ESPN Gamecast for a few minutes. So I couldn't watch the 4th and OT live, had to 'watch' via Gamecast. ESPN's Gamecast IS A LYING LIAR WHO LIES. It initially listed Whiteside MISSING both free throws with 5 seconds left or whatever, and so I thought Lowry's 3 had won the game. They even had the score as 90-89 for the Raps with no time left. Then, inexplicably, an extra point popped up for the Heat and it was VERY CONFUSING.

Then in OT, they listed the Deng turnover followed by a Wade turnover followed by a Wade dunk and and-1 and it was, once again, enormously confusing.

**** ESPN.

This is the series OakleyDokely was talking about. Raps win the next 2, lose 1 then win the next 2 in Game 6.

Kenny explained it well on TNT, our half court O SUCKS! When we are in transition, we are one of the best teams in the NBA.

That was the first game of the playoffs where Casey didn't infuriate me. He moved 2Pat to the bench, and inserted Powell to defend Wade. He called timely timeouts, his rotations for the most part made sense, and there was even a nice play called out of a timeout.

It was perhaps his first well coached game in the last two years of playoffs, and maybe even longer than that. For me, that was the real miracle of the game, not Lowry's tying shot.

That was a disappointing loss, but I'm feeling extremely calm. The team looked tired out there, and I'm pretty sure they have another gear or two in them. I'm not sure that Miami does. Hopefully they can recharge their batteries today and grab the second one.

For sure. I'm surprised Casey didn't learn his lesson re: overplaying players last season when Lowry got injured and sucked in the playoffs.

As Lowry goes, so goes this team.

Raps offensive system is embarrassing. I don't understand how a majority of their plays waste the shot clock for 20 seconds then they heave it up. Zero flow and zero movement it's just stale.

I turned the game off with 8 seconds to go in the 4th. Just now found out about overtime. Wow!

Total lack of discipline on the team IMO.

The amount of times this team shoots long, contested 3s early in the shot clock, in they playoffs, no less... lmao.

You'd figure Lowry being 2 out of like 28 (now 3 of 28...) on 3s he would stop shooting 3s... lol.

72% from three. Yeah that is not going to end well if the open looks keep happening. How much longer can the Raps go without closing the 3point shooting gap they give up to their opponents every friggin game!?

Jonas had a 90's bigman line tonight, wow. Frame it and put it up with one of the great statistical games of Raptors playoff history.

24/14, 3 assists, 3 blocks, 2 steals, +10. Only 1 TO and 2 PF's.

Is it a lack of discipline for the players or does this rest on Casey? I'm leaning towards the latter.

Both.

Lowry has to take serious responsibility for continuously chucking when his shot simply is not going down, I'm sure DD as well for his increased playoff inefficiency.

So does the Coach, the Boss. Everyone's got a responsibility here. But building an environment of accountability is not supposed to be done in the playoffs.... there's always next regular season :P

I hope they get their act together next game really, that's all. All these game 1 losses at home is too amazing for me.... lol.

I really think that is the greatest source of frustration with this Raptors team. Myself included, I think most believe that there is more talent on the team than what is being utilized.... because it's not iso-ball talent. It's talent that would work probably really great in a more team-oriented and movement-oriented offense.

Watching that last play in the 3rd Q when DD had the iso.... for god's sake nobody wants to see that! Lol!
