How does it compare to his previous albums?
X and + are my favorites.
Although I love all his projects. He’s an all time great for sure.

I have all of these on vinyl, and only the Maiden album was bought after its release date. The FTM I had to mail order through an ad in maximumrocknroll magazine. Those were the days, hah.
More recently, I saw YinYin play at Lee's Palace on Sunday night. They're a fun band and definitely willing to experiment with genres and styles.

Re: OT: What are you listening to?
RIP D'ANGELO! Listening to some D'Angelo on loop while I crush some integer programming! I have love for the NP hard problems! Like the set packing problem, conceptualized naturally in hypergraphs! I love HYPERGRAPHS! I LOVE COMBINATORICS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Hope the days come back where great RnB singers chop it up with jazz musicians on the regular!!
I grew up listening to bass virtuosos... Stanley Clarke, Jaco Pastorius, and Victor Wooten were key features on my iPod Classic way back in 2006! But I never got around to listening to D'Angelo's seminal albums on loop the way that they deserved to be listened to. You see, they're known for their masterful bass work. Some say it's the best bass work on an RnB album since the days of James Jamerson. Personally, I think that Marcus Miller, James Jamerson are both 1/1... but, I suppose the moral of the story is, is to appreciate the rizz of the greats while they walk this earth! And to always keep your ear open!!
Another excellent performance. Ariana Grande sharing the stage with a generational jazz bassist, generational jazz pianist/keyboardist, and generational jazz drummer.

Re: OT: What are you listening to?
Heard a busker (where the **** u at!!) at Bloor-Yonge station playing this with his loop station and (American?) Telecaster!
At first I thought he was playing Return to Forever (not this song lol but this is my favourite RTF track)
The rizz of Chick Corea, Stanley Clarke, and Al di Meola!
Now I am listening to this to align my nafs al-natiqa so that I can learn ALGORITHMS.

Re: OT: What are you listening to?
My favorite pop stars are Taylor Swift, Kesha and Lady Gaga in that order. However this year Lady Gaga had the best album.
