I don't watch baseball regularly but that looked like a boneheaded play to be out that far from the base. Is that normal? WTF was that guy thinking?

He was trying to score on a hit from second, which would have worked well...bad luck having the pop out go so close behind second.

Normally on a fly ball with less than 2 outs, unless you're sure the fielder won't catch the ball, you tag 2nd base (i.e., go back to 2nd ready to run). That was a base running mistake, especially bad because Springer was on deck. That was a horrible way to end the game in a loss.

Still in disbelief how quickly that game ended going from 2 on with 0 outs

If this is the case could we also start Yesavage tomorrow?

He can but his arm may have ligering fatigue from Game 5. But I think he be available for 1-2 innings as reliever/closer.

Also, the Blue Jays have already announced that if there is to be a Game 7, Max Scherzer will take the mound.

That 9th inning was such a heartbreaker. Still confident they pull this off. Yamamoto is a monster.

It looked at first like the ball was gonna drop. Barger was a tad late to react once the fielder had tracked the ball. If that ball drops it's a tie game with a runner on first, nobody out, and Springer at bat. What could have been.

I was more upset over Clement's at bat, personally.

Yeah, an infield pop up was the absolute worst outcome there. Still, I think it was just a game the Jays weren't going to win. Those kind of situations pile up in games like that.
