WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

And I kept repeating that until I got hoarse. Luckily I was alone in the car.

When I got home and got out of the car, I did the Peewee Herman dance. You know, this one:

(Although it wasn't as elaborate and didn't involve any bike gangs or alcohol.)

Then I sang, "Hi, ho! The witch is dead, the witch is dead, the witch it dead! Hi, ho! The wicked witch is deeeeeaaaaaaaddddd!!!!"

Woot!

Hey, did ya hear? Smitch was fired!

Did this happen to you when you got back home and went into your kitchen?

I heard about it on my drive home. I couldn't stopped whooping it up. I clapped my hands raw and now I celebrate with the rest of Raptor nation.

We still have mediocre talent on the roster ... no other coach will be any better ...

... although smitch deserved to be fired for the way the raps lost against Vince in the dying seconds!

...than again, its a good chance for a Canadian coach. If the team makes a marked improvment he may get a full time gig.

you liked sam?? what did you like about him, his total lack of creativity or the stupid looks on his face when he calls timeouts.

...this puts more responsibility on Bryan. Too many times I have heard the bad attributed to Sam and the good to Bryan. That is not healthy.

Grange basically said that during the conference call with Colangelo, though I can't remember Bryan's answer. Does anyone else?

Bryan actually answered by saying he's still looking at the roster and any changes that need to be made will be made. He didn't just say the roster is good enough as is, which would have been ballsy.

Changing the coach isn't enough. We need Gerald Wallace or Luol Deng BADLY.

It would have been stupdid to say that.' Very rarely is a roster a finished product. Ballsy 99% of the time means risky.

Bryan better show me the marked improvment after this move. I will be fair.

I really feel that this move has more to do with blame than reality. So Bryan better do a good job finding a replacment and showing me why Sam had to go.

I also feel that if Bryan fails in this firing, it makes him look like any other GM cleaning his tenure with a coach firing and I don't feel that Sam was AS responsible as the perception against him.

I was at work all day, just read about it now. Crazy man. I don't think he's a good head coach, maybe an assistant coach would better suit him.

correct.. no more excuses now.. it's clearly all on Bryan Colangelo now if the Raptors don't make the post season

I'm perfectly fine with that. I want to see this team without Sam Mitchell.

Never thought I'd see on the FAN 3 hours worth of calls on the Raptors.

I am glad there finally appears to be some accountability. Sam deserved to be fired and now that is out of the way it is time to assess the rest of the team. Bryan will have some tough questions thrown his way if the team doesn't smarten up.

IL MAGO! NO MORE EXCUSES! Time to bring it!

JO better back up all his talking with some on court production and that goes for our self proclaimed MVP Chris Bosh.

I love it!

One more time for old time sake.

FIRE SAM!
