Exactly, I think we've had enough of picks like Rafael Araújo over Andre Iguodala, Terrence Ross over Andre Drummond and Delon Wright over Bobby Portis. We took Araújo over Iguodala because we had Carter and Peterson and needed a centre. We took Ross over Drummond because we already had Val, our centre of the future, and we took Wright over Portis because the offseason plan had us short a man at backup point guard... until we lost out on Wes Matthews and signed Corey Joseph instead.

The key is, you never know what will happen, DeMar could decide he wants to play in LA, some team could throw a max contract at Lowry in 2017, or either of them could suffer a career altering injury that completely transforms what team needs are. Smart teams take BPA and figure the rest out later.

I agree about BPA, but let's be clear about why they took Wright over Portis: because they liked Wright better.

No, lets really be clear. Because they only had one PG on the roster and needed another one. But damn, if he ain't looking real good right now. Well done Masai. Well. Done.

At that time, we only had PP as our PF..who's worse than Lowry. So PF was a bigger need.

I had Delon at #2 on my draft list at the time. The biggest factor that hurt his stock was his age.

The score is too close in Portland-Denver game. Come on, Portland, don't disappoint.

I'm pretty sure they do the coin tosses right after the seasons over. Possibly tomorrow?

8th would be nice... but I fully expect us to land in the 10th position. #Raptorsluck

But at 8th, we at least have a 3(ish)-4(ish)% chance to at least move up. Anything past that and it's really really really really unlikely (just above 2% chance or less).

At this point I'd just take 8th. But 2, 3, 11, and 12 are highly unlikely so just assume 8-10 and go from there.

Ingram, Simmons, Bender, Dunn, Hield, and Murray are all but certain to be gone. Lots of randoms slotted for slots 7-15, anything can happen there. Brown, Rabb, Sabonis, Poeltl, Chriss, Ellenson, Davis, etc etc are all in play for those mid-lottery teams.

How do you do a 3 team coin toss?
