Have you heard about all the good we are doing in Africa?

Also there was that poor Brazilian child we sponsored for 3 years!

And boy do we work wonders..

Some of you guys just can't accept Masai snaked DeRozan.. it happened. You need to accept it and move on from that the same way DeMar needs to move on from Toronto.

It's not even about accepting it, yall are just ok with it cause you woulda snaked DeRozan a while ago

from n outsider perspective, dd is in the wrong with his actions so far...however he isnt lying when you see masai sweating n deflecting answers to those questions bout his run in with dd as to what was said. masai shouldve said nothing at all, it is a biz lots of players go thru trades just dont lie or say nothing at all

Iffy comparison. Job was loyal even after the fact.. but I get what you're saying

I'm not comparing DeRozan to Jobe. The meaning of the story is remaining loyal through thick & thin, not just when things are going your way. If you can only be loyal when you're getting something, you're only really loyal to yourself.

Jobe lost friends, family, was covered in boyles & didn't turn on who he was being loyal too. DeRozan is getting paid Millions more than he's worth & is upset because he didn't get his way. He doesn't know what loyalty is.

To be loyal you have to have a level of understanding. Jobe understood it's not God that took from him. God allowed Satan to test his loyalty. It's God that restored him. If Derozan really had an understanding of the situation there's no way he should be mad at Masai or the team for bettering themselves, he's mad because there's nothing in it for him.

yeah ok dekobe10 we believe you

Don’t need to prove anything to randoms on an Internet forum. I know what I experienced and others who used to work with me experienced similar. Masai has you all fooled it’s absolutely hilarious. If I saw him on the street I wouldn’t even say hi, that’s how little respect I have for him.

Yes. Masai has definitly fooled me by getting a better player and a ton of cap space next season. But...

Masai just got off a long flight from Africa & rushed to the meeting. He was sweating because he was both tired & put in a strenuous situation.

He didn't have to appologize comsidering it was a misunderstanding but did out of respect for Derozan.

So DeMar got snaked because of basketball reasons.. tell us something we don't know. If we didn't lose to CLE I'm sure Masai wouldn't have had to snake

as Demar just admitted here, Masai never told him he wasn't getting traded.

All he did was trade Demar.

and now Demar is crying about it.

I don't know if there's a smooth way to protect trade negotiations, trade a franchise player that's been with you for 9 years, and also account for the trade not going through and having to stick with them.

I don't think he snaked him.

I think Masai at the time genuinely believed they wouldn't be able to get Kawhi and told Demar there was no trade imminent and hoped he kept improving on his game.

My intuition is that the Spurs got desperate and gave Masai an offer he couldn't refuse by adding Green to the deal and agreeing to only accept Poeltl and a protected 1st in return.

What was Masai supposed to do?

We do know that Masai spoke to Demar few hours before the trade became official so he was making an effort to let Demar know the trade was coming.

I'm sure Masai is so upset that some random fan won't say hi to him cause he's so butthurt that Demar got traded. You've shown where you're allegiances lie and it's not with the Raptors, it's with Demar.

You're not a fan of this organization, that much is clear if you can drop them like that, put up a Spurs logo and start calling Masai names and questioning his character. We have a long history of watching his actions and his relationships with players to make a judgement that it's clear he didn't snake him. A miscommunication with two people seeing a conversation differently is more likely the truth to this whole thing.

Lol just stop. DD is being an emotional lesbian. You can follow DD to the spurs while the rest of us enjoy watching an actual superstar not choke in the playoffs.

come on man, its not like ran from the airport  .......the way he hesistated and bumbled his words trying to answer that question is a good indicator that what Derozen said wasn't false, I'm sure DD would still have hurt feelings even if Masai said yes you're in the conversation when asked, but he wouldn't have made these statements making Masai look shady.

Every GM will trade away DD for Kawhi, they are in different level. DD bring the team to playoff but Kawhi can bring the team to Eastern Champ or Final (of course if he is 100% healthy) I totally don't understand why it is so big news now .. I guess media doesn't like the result and they are creating DD vs. Raptors story line. sighs.

when you see someone say "toronto is an unattractive market" and "toronto is cold" and those are premises on their theories - totally ignorant folks. it really means they don't know ****.
