I'm not expecting Vucevic to do anything other than average 20/10/3 at the centre position where we get **** all production from.

He doesn't have to be Kawhi to elevate us to being able to get to the Eastern Conference Finals. Vucevic is like Serge but an all-star version. His scoring would help ease the pressure off for Pascal, Kyle and Fred, and he's top 10 in rebounding the last two seasons, our worst attribute. Can nobody see how good Vucevic would be in our system? Maybe we can get him for less than what I thought.

Hes a below average defender, no where near as good as Ibaka or Gasol. Sure he can put up decent stats, but again he didn't take Orlando anywhere, why do you think hes taking a 1-6 team to the conference finals or 2nd round?

This team needs interior defense more than anything if they want to win now, and Vuc doesn't do that. But regardless at most he's worth Powell/one 1st round lottery protected pick. Maybe a 2nd round pick as well.

• When we are a lotto because our best player (Lowry) either already left or is 37 and 39 years old when the pick swaps begin to happen, I'd rather be in control of my own picks

• How much more valuable is 30 year old Vucevic versus 27 year old Serge Ibaka when we traded for him? Considering Ross for Powell is wash both in talent and contract at the time... Do you really think Vucevic is worth an additional Two Unprotected picks, plus Two Pick swaps over what we gave for Serge?

• I don't want a deal done for Vucevic, so I don't really care what draft assets it would take to get done... You're using examples like Bucks/LAC to rationalize an outlandish valuation. Meanwhile, those trades were basically made under duress for external reasons (Giannis/Leonard), and even then, many people felt that LAC/MIL got ripped off in those deals.

• Earlier you made reference that those who have won a ring don't ring chase in relation to Lowry and the Raptors being aligned to stay together through to his retirement... From my experience, most players who have won a ring (especially those who have made their money) will tell you, after winning one, that is the ONLY thing that matters to them anymore. I'm not as confident as you are that Lowry and the Raptors are aligned.

• Finally, earlier you also generalized that all us Pro-Tankers/Asset-Building Mode members wanted a Harden trade... I Don't... In fact, I was Pro-Asset-Building mode as soon as last season was over and was only further cemented when both Ibaka & Gasol departed.

That's just what I think the market is. Like I've said already, everybody seems to want to pick a fight about my trade instead of just saying, 'I think the same trade can be had for less' if they really believe that. If enough people said that then I would reconsider what my view of current market values are. If I'm right about market valuation, whether you think it's outlandish or not, then the reality for NBA GMs is that 1st round picks are not as valuable as you and everyone else here thinks they are. Do you think we can turn Norman Powell, crap, two firsts and a second into an all-star? Can you guys in this thread not acknowledge the value of a player like Vucevic on the contract he is on? What would the trade have to be, centred around Norm, for you to be willing to upgrade our roster in this way? Vucevic is like Ibaka but smart, I thought Serge was our third best player last year and I think Vuc is a big upgrade over him. Especially since he would be paid only a few million more than what we just paid Serge.

Yea the defense is great! Kings are just getting lucky scoring in the paint at will. Raptors scored 35, normally when you score 35 in the 1st quarter you're up.
