The only thing bargnani does is inefficient offense and he couldn't even last as a number one guy 1 season, on a 17-46 team. Ouch

Didn't Derozan miss the last shot in second OT Bargnani style? I fail to see how he's any better or shown more potential to hit late game shots.. Should still go to Bargnani imo.

Never really said you were a hater specifically, but you all but jumped to a conclusion at the start of the guy's sophomore season.

You decided to argue with people who told you it was too early (I'm assuming, because I'm not giong to re-read that thread) and now you're being proven wrong. I don't think you're a hater, you're just wrong.

Did he not also send the game into OT for us? We haven't seen much from DD in the clutch simply because he hasn't been given the opportunity to until recently. The ball has either been given to Jose or Bargnani. I for one would like to see what DD can do since it's pretty obvious he's a big part of our future whether you like it or not.

Alternate last shots with Bargnani. If you hit one, you get the next one - make it take it.

Derozan drove in on Deron Williams, spin moved, and hit a tough shot over him to bring it to OT. Then Bargnani long range brick, then Derozan long range brick, then Bargnani long range brick. It was questionable last play calling all around, but Derozan actually attacked the basket and hit a tough shot so.. at least he got a pass for that one.

Wait don't you remember Bargnani driving twice in the OT with a layup and 1? I remember that he was just lieing on the floor after the second one... I think the main issue with bargnani is his conditioning... I don't think he's able to withstand physically the nba game that's why he doesnt rebound or defend or give his whole the entire game. He's just not able to... Maybe his summers with the national team or what not don't give him enough time to rest for the regular season... hearing his interviews in italian he's not a lazy pussy as he's portrayed on these boards ( even though he has mentioned losing focus over the course of the season as there are so many games).
Also, I think he still lacks the understanding of the english language, in one of the most recent london interviews they asked him what he thought about the english national team being in the london olympics. And he understood what did he think of the possiblity of playing in the olympics... I think he just does not grasp concepts because of this.

Anyway back to late game shots topic; DD was good against williams with that shot in the nets game before OT. But in OT at the beginning he drove on williams again and failed miserably...I think it would interesting for DD to get more late game shots but him and bargnani should alternate if they fail to hit.

They should run the pick and roll with Bargnani and DeRozan with the ball. It could be deadly.

Who cares if he's going to get more touches down the stretch.. Triano's play calling in the waning minutes/seconds rivals Paul Westphal's..

He got himself a good look, whereas Bargnani barely ever gets himself good shots in the last seconds of a game. It's not practical to ISO a 7-footer with limited off the dribble moves with under 15 secs to go.

Realistically, Derozan has improved a lot and is in my opinion the most versatile guy with the rock on this team in the past month or so. Not only can he get himself a good look at a jumper, he can get into the paint for the finish, or to find a teammate on a kick out. Whereas with Bayless, Bargs, or Barbosa, you know they're going to drive for an awkward shot or fail to create a good look for themselves, leading to an awkward shot--and neither guy is going to pass.

Triano's quote is also telling as it seems to indicate what I always thought--that Triano did not have a lot of confidence in Demar. I always thought that much of Demar's lack of growth last year and even earlier this year was because Triano showed no confidence in him. He wasn't really involved in the offensive game plan until 2 months ago, and there were many games where Demar would find his offense on his own through 3 quarters and then sit in the 4th and crunch time to watch Weems or somebody stink it up late in the game. I'm glad Triano is finally realizing the commodity we have in Derozan and is finally showing confidence in him. I would credit most of Derozan's improvement lately to him just being more confident and comfortable.
not strong, only aggresive cuz the power ain't directed/ that's why, we are subjected to the will of the oppressive

What do you mean how did that work last night? He got to the line 11 times..his jumper wasn't falling. He's still a sophmore can't expect him to drop 20 + every night.
