Ed Davis + #8 sounds more right to me but I wonder if that'll be enough after the year Davis's had. If I'm trading DeRozan AND the pick together, I'd have to be damn sure I'm getting a superior player by a good margin. DeRozan and the pick wouldn't be enough for #1 and after that, I'd rather go after a more accomplished player if we are to offer the two in a package. A player who we are fairly certain in what we are getting. Having said that though, I don't see trading DeRozan and the pick together being an answer. The package's neither here nor there. It'll probably be not enough for what we want/need/should get and/or too much for what we'll most likely end up getting. Would rather find a different package.

I would be ecstatic about Derozan + 8th for top 3 and then move Ed Davis for a another pick in 15-25 range.

Your Draft BigBoard really drops off after #7 . Would suck to be the team currently holding 8th. Oh wait...

I would still be happy with Sullinger at 8 and content with PJ3 or Lillard.

kalel123 wrote:Bradley Beal is good but after Anthony Davis in this draft, you got no sure thing and a lot of question marks on every single prospect including Bradley Beal. If I were GM, I'd promote the idea of consolidating assets but DeMar DeRozan plus our pick at 8 for Bradley Beal (who's undersized AND didn't have that great a year) looks like too high risk for me.

He plays bigger than his size, that's already been known by now. And he does have a great year, his stat line of "15 pts, 6.7 reb, 2.2 ast, 0.8 blk and 1.4 stl" is pretty darn great. Aside from .445 FG%/.339 3P% shooting (not outrageously poor %), and 2.2 ast from playing alongside with 2 ball chuckers are still not bad and he avg. 16 pts, 8.3 reb, 3 ast, 1.5 stl .60 FG%/0.42 3P% in the tourney. That's some impressive stat line there.

Beal looks really nice in this video, but would prefer to see him compete in some drew league games before I really pass any sort of judgement on him.

He's pretty smooth. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up being the second best player out of this draft.

Unfortunately, I think the odds of the Raptors getting him are really poor. I don't think he'll got top three, so if we move up we probably won't take him. And if we drop or stay where we are he will already be gone.

Cool that he's working on his handles and can't wait to find out how he measures at the combine. He's 18 could still grow.

I like Beal, but this video is just the highlights of what he did perfectly.
I would prefer to have more coverage on an individual and complete workout (no cutting or filtering those missed shots).

I like he dribbles with his head up, so he can be a better passer (Bayless has his head down, so he runs into people).

I swear Beal did not miss a single shot in the clip spotting up or shooting off the dribble. God damn!
