Changing the colour scheme next season

Obviously winning is all the matters, but these current jerseys they wear are very ugly and could use a re-brand for sure.
I would go back to purple because it just feels/looks right.

At first I was against it, but I've really warmed up to the idea of going blue & white to match the other teams in the city.

Teams with a red jersey: Rockets, 76ers, Pelicans, Cavaliers, Raptors, Bulls, Pistons, Trailblazers, Bucks, Heat, Clippers, & Wizards.

Build a winning tradition with the jerseys we have and no one will be complaining in a few years.

I should hate these, but I don't. If they change the Barney logo, I like these a lot. It's different. Plus, it's already part of our history so it's not like you're starting from scratch again.

I don't understand why some people hate these jerseys. When they wore it against Washington, It just felt right. It's unique compared to the rest of the league.


Bring back purple.

Also, I hope they don't go with a Blue to match the Leafs and Argos. It just wouldn't feel right for the Raptors.
Purple is perfect because it's the colour you get when mixing Rogers with Bell.

I really like our black and red uni's and will miss them. but i still want that rumoured black and gold look.

Not a fan of the amount of red in our colour scheme. Go with a purple like in the VC era jerseys, or if they are sticking with red use a darker shade like maroon (Something like the Aston Villa or West Ham colour scheme).

I don't have any shoes, belts, pants, or jackets... Personally I would like to know that I can wear my favourite teams gear when I am in public without looking like someone can't dress themselves and match...

-For those that like the Dino throwback... We're you alive or we're you a fan of the Raps when we first worn them? That would help explain it... They are horribly ugly... Great if you are trying to market to a 10 year old but c'mon how anybody can like Barney is beyond me..

-People that think our current jersey's are plain, boring, and don't like the Red... How interesting really is the Bull's jersey, or The Celtics, or how about the Knicks? Haven't changed their colour or there jersey in years & if they have altered it, it's barely noticeable...

-Those that want a change because the current jersey reminds us of losing and it is time to turn the page... Shouldn't the Leafs be changing their colours and uniforms then? & by the way we had more losing seasons in Purple then we did Red...


Stop treating my favourite team like a damn cell phone or an ex-girlfriend you can just get rid of cause you want an upgrade... Funny thing with supposed upgrades... My favourite phone I ever owned, I don't have it anymore... My best girl I ever had, I don't have her anymore... Be careful what you ask for.

Bulls have the same colour scheme as we do... Blue/Orange and Green/white are better? Celtics font is plain as your response and who the hell sees stitching?

I don't have a problem with us keeping red, but I am just not a fan of the shade of red they have used. I'd like us to move towards a crimson, or a red with more brown in it to mute the overall effect. Right now we have a bright red, which is hard on the eyes and has negative connections with being associated with a stop sign. It is almost a relief to watch our team play in purple than to have to watch us in those hideous red jerseys.

I like the idea of brown because it is so different and if done right, I think it would be a great way to redefine the Raptors. I have always loved the Padres brown and yellow jerseys, which could easily be using more of a golden hue and offset with red.




It would fit into a retro style and feel more working class, which just fits Toronto. Plus, no one has the colour scheme in the NBA, which helps to set us apart, which is important in the whole "we the north" marketing strategy.

Brown wouldn't look good on people with a dark skin tone. There's a reason why no one has attempted a predominantly brown color scheme in the NBA.

Whatever the team ends up doing, I hope we stick with it for the next 50 years. The best jerseys in professional sports are the ones that don't change, regardless of design.
