I am not too worried, I have watched all spring training games that have aired as well as watched them last year the young guys are better than the old guys. Norris, Sanchez and Hutch could all be above average league average starting pitchers this year. I don't expect us to make the playoffs just because we haven't in 22 years so why start now, but they easily could if they avoid anymore injures. Either way with stupidity of Casey and the ugly style of play of this years Raptors it will be fun to have some excitement, even if its short lived.

I'm a little bored of the Raps right now. But I'm excited for the playoffs even though I don't see them going very far or even past the first round.

I am looking forward to the Jays this season. Its a shame about Stroman. The Lineup looks like its going to be very good if they stay healthy.

The pitching is very questionable.

We only have 2 guys that will likely pitch over 200 innings in Buehrle and Dickey. Both the old guys.

Relying on Hutchison who just coming back from TJ, and two rookies in Sanchez and Norris is a huge gamble.

Our Bullpen is also a huge concern. I really like Castro. But I'd rather they keep stretching him out as a starter in the minors.

Aside from Cecil and Loup, we don't really have anyone reliable in the pen. Let's hope Delabar bounces back, our starters pitch well and our hitters score a ton of runs this year.

Wow. Tomorrow is a BIG night for us. Might I add that Wednesday is even bigger.

Chicago is 43-29 currently. Toronto is 42-28. If we win tomorrow, we get to 43-28. Going into Wednesday - we'll be 43-28 and Chicago will be 43-29. If we win, we go up to 44-28 and they go down to 43-30. That's big. We need the next two nights. It's imperative to us getting home court and 3rd seed.

No you want 4th and avoid to Cavs for as long as possible, hopefully get a matchup with Washington first round, and then Atlanta second if we make it that far that is.

Dont get whats with people wanting to face washington and atlanta. People are judging off regular season games. Wiz have weapon at every position and Wall could destroy our defense with his penetration, gortat would also avg a double double. Not to mention old man pierce, who single handedly (lol) iced us in the 1st round last year. I guarantee we will be feeling de ja vu if we end up 4th and this season will feel like a step back from last year (esp. defensively).
Furthermore, at 4th or 5th there is small chance we face Bulls, and either way Atlanta will also bumplumb us; we arent making it to the conference finals anyway, are you all really not forseeing that?

On the other hand, if we finish third and face the Bucks, easy trip to round two which will boost team and franchise morale. we would all love to see playoff basketball that deep into the year, and even if its the cavs, the entire universe would be watching the raptors cuz of bron bron. Who knows, we win a game or two( fk around and beat cavs and we become the toronto justin biebers in popularity) , the season is a success and we get to have bron bron and kyrie up in toronto right before our eyes to drool over. It would be a fun series for sure, did yal watch their last game? We came back and JV smashed lbj to the floor. Def wouldnt back down.

Lol at people preferring to face wizards over the bucks/heat. Are we really trying to face Paul Pierce again? Wizards also turn it up in the playoffs. Nets swept heat reg season last year and got destroyed in playoffs

Pierce is another player come playoff time, he's the type to explode for 25 points and drain a gamewinner in a pivotal Game 3 or som **** and you have to contain Wall + Beal. I prefer facing no names vs Milwaukee or Wade/Dragic with D-leaguers

This. Raps will get more airtime and respect around the league if they win a round and compete against Cleveland especially if DeRozan drops 30 a game and he's capable of doing it.

I'm just afraid that if we tank for 4th, Chicago somehow gets 5th. We really aren't in any position to tank for any positioning. We should win as much games as we can and let the chips fall where they may
