I'm not sure why so many people are suggesting we rest guys. We've played horrible over the last few months and we're not good enough to flick a switch and play well once playoffs arrive. The guys will get a few days rest after the regular season is over anyways. I'd rather have a team that's in rhythm, and a few less days rest, than a rested team that's going to come out rusty. Getting our starting 5 on the same page is far more important.

I get what you are saying - momentum is important. Im not saying sit back and just coast by any means. I want us to win games.

Injuries can happen at any time though. Also, you can bet that not everyone on the team is operating at 100% - the public only knows what the team chooses to disclose in terms of player health. Amir Johnson, for example, can always use a game off. You don't even necessarily need to have them sit out as a DNP, you can just bring their minutes down.

If the games are meaningless (For Example: Chicago holding a 2 game advantage with 2 games left to play), then why why risk it? I think it would be cool to see players like Bebe, Bruno and Fields get some PT, especially if the games dont matter.

Lowry is already sitting so you aren't seeing the starting five together regardless.

I don't expect anyone to come out rusty for game one. We are going to be ready, if anything over excited. The players know what the atmosphere is like inside the ACC (Lou Will is about to find out).

Theoretically, 4th may be the best seed to take for the Raptors. If the Raptors are 3rd then yes we can hope the Wizards will beat our biggest obstacle, the Bulls while the Raptors take the Bucks. But then the Raptors would have to face Cleveland, and we know the Refs will murder us along with LeBron. At least if the Raptors are 4th seed, they face the Wizards, which is doable. Than the Hawks, which is doable, and then one of Bulls/Cavs, which they would have to face sometime. Not saying the Wizards and Hawks are cakewalks by any means, but at least the Raptors have shown to compete with these teams without battling the whistle as well.
