Is he much better than Patterson? No.

The two main features we need in a PF is a rebounder that can hit mid-range and beyond. He checks off the 2nd, but so does Patterson. The main (attainable) target should still be Taj Gibson.

So you want to absolutely rob us?

Yep, if we aren't giving up the NYK/Denver pick I can see him wanting our 1st rounder and the LAC 1st rounder + ridnour (both picks would be around the 20's) or Wright plus a 1st when we are able to trade him

Funny how some of you are calling Markieff a head case and asking for Terrence Jones at the same time.

Everybody forget when Jones got in trouble for kicking a homeless man that was sleeping on the ground?

I seriously wonder if he will be the same player without his brother. These are one of those twins that come as a package deal so Detroit should scoop him up.

[F] Barnes - Boucher - Mogbo
[F] Barrett - Agbaji - Battle
[G] Dick - Brown - Walter

Does anyone else have qualms about adding a dude that readily beats on homeless people? Not being facetious really just wondering if his criminal behaviour should have any weighing on him as a basketball player.

Why acquire Wilson Chandler if his not even going to make 10 man rotation.

If we could find a way to get d Markieff for Greivis TPE, LAC 1st and Ross I would give the offseason an A+, especially if we can find a way to get a 3point shooter on the wings off the bench.

I think he meant chandler or Martin. Which is weird because they're very different.

Perhaps I'm in the minority but I prefer to cheer for those who don't beat the homeless. So yes I have qualms. It would be funny to have a player who beat a homeless guy on the same team as a player who took a homeless guy out for dinner. (Biyombo) Unfortunately with Lou gone we lost a guy who took a person who tried to mug him to McDonalds.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Markieff has 20/8 potential as a starter. He gives you more than Patterson. He's athletic, he can slash, post up, shoot and create off the dribble. He can play the 3 or the 4. Perfect 6th man.

RealityIsDemar wrote:I really don't know what you're talking about.. He's not a very good fit for this team. He's too much like Patterson. Morris is a great shooter (50.31% 8-16 feet is 2nd highest for a PF in the league under only Ppat) and 40% 16-24 feet to go along with 31% from 3. No question he's a good shooter and a good fit in that sense, but he's a terrible rebounder. Only 6.2/game, but more importantly he gets 56.5% of his chances at the rebound which is average but an atrocious 36% contested rebound %. He wouldn't help our problem for defensive rebounding infact he would make it worse. Also, he is a defensive liability. He gets good steal numbers (1.2/game) but allows 52.4% FG% at the rim to go along with only .5 BPG. He is a poor fit next to Val defensively which would overall make our frontcourt unsustainable defensively. Not a good fit at all.

Bregdrin, please tell me what what website you used to get those stats. My dude went in right there. Lock this thread lol

Well he wouldn't be coming in as a 6th man
