A big thing we have going for us is that we're better than they are.

What?!?
Didn't we just beat Indy in 7 or did I miss something?! lol
The last time we were in a game 7 in the 2nd round.

Expect us to come out strong, need to contain Tragic, need guys like Patterson to actually hit some 3's. Not worried.

We're going to finish unfinished business: Winning a game 7 in the semi-finals.
Homecourt
No Graduation
Better Team
Severely depleted opponent
Last but not least OP has been in this situation before
If that doesn't inspire confidence I don't know what will. Book it we WILL beat the heat.

Re: Game 7: Heat @ Raptors, Sunday 5/15/16 3:30 ET TSN/ABC
its honestly really frustrating watching how this team runs their offense though... literally they just find ways to get it to demar and lowry and wait for them to try and score... im watching miami and theyre penetrating and then getting open 3s in the corner... like actual wide open ones... why can we NEVER do that in half court? its so **** how we cant generate looks to get other guys involved...
i hate when people watch these games and say, "NO ONE ELSE SHOWED UP." are you seriously watching the **** game? how are guys supposed to "SHOW UP" if they never get the ball in positions to make use of their strengths... its like every time someone gets the ball on this team, that person HAS TO CREATE SOMETHING. we never make use of plays where guys actually get good looks in situations they need to. the only times we ever get open 3s are in transition. why cant we just run guys off screens to get catch and shoots, or drive and kick for catch and shoots, or backdoor plays to get guys easy layups?
i realize casey may not be the most creative offensive mastermind, but its really obvious at this point that its the guys running the show that just have very poor instincts and court vision... demar only passes if he doesnt have an open shot or if he sees a home run play... lowry is very similar, though hes still much better than demar in actually recognizing open guys... just our primary ballhandlers all have a shoot first mentality, and none of them are able to actually make the right passes at the right times... i think thats our issue more than just casey not running proper sets... what casey can be blamed for, is actually devising that system... demar derozan should never be a guy that is a dominant ballhandler on any team... he just lacks very basic fundamental playmaking skills and is only ever "drive drive drive, attack attack attack, shoot shoot shoot" like theres no on the fly decision making, theres no oh ****, im doubled, swing it back out quickly for the hockey assist... he always shoots it all the time, unless he cant. i dont think its a trust issue as much as it is a skill and iq issue.
