Its interesting, when someone is quiet and reserved we feel the need to fill the void of their silence with all this conjecture. Its precisely the reason we think someones silence comes off as arrogant sometimes, or stupid, or autistic, or any of the other words used to describe kawhi’s silence.

I think its deeper than jus his silence, north american culture is so loud, when you look at japanese culture, silence is respected and often endered. I can only imagine how annoying it may be for a dude like kawhi to have to continually explain thay he doesnt like to talk much. You would think its enough for him not to speak for people to understand that he just doesnt like to talk. But in reality he doesnt owe anyone ****, and if the man wants to be quiet, more power to him, he can continue doing him. But as far as his duty to us goes, he literally doesn’t owe you or me anything. So stop deflecting our own problems with someone elses preference not to conform to how you want them to act. Hes a grown ass man, if he wants someone to speak on behalf of him, he can have it that way, im sure kawhi is intelligent enough to say what he wants when he wants.

Not sure what his love life has to do with you, tbh. Whether he gets engaged or not (quite frankly, I don't even know if he has a woman in his life) is none of our concern. And tbh, not sure how you correlate being quiet with him getting engaged.

To be honest, he seems less awkward/ shy than OG. The interviews of Kawhi that I have seen, he gives honest answers & seems well spoken. He gives elaborate, meaningful answers for the most part.

OG on the other hand......media can't get this guy to say more than a 4-5 word sentence.

So.....why is OG so quiet? Does he have a psychiatric disorder?

I really feel for Bargnani now actually. Not only does he have a naturally quiet demeanor, but he also had to speak an entirely different language. And then he was sent out to the wolves of the media frenzy.... Yikes!

Dude can play and that's the most accurate info we have on him. So obviously he is organized and smart enough to set himself up to be an amazing player, it demands respect not this needy analyzing. For all we know he's an extremely deep person who sees the shortsightedness of the media and chooses not to join their circus.

Yup. He probably senses the fakeness of the whole media circus and doesn't want to participate in it... If there's anything to analyze, it's why players have to be forced to partake in that frenzy. Let them just focus on basketball if that's just what they want to do.
