Is there an article regarding this? It cost nothing for Raptors to retain his rights, I doubt they'd renounce it considering they've been keeping rights to guys like Nando De Colo for years and years.
Damn it's true. i didnt know we waived him a day after the suspension. Too bad we lost him. Maybe they didnt like the details behind the scenes. So basically, he's not gonna be a raptor:

That's certainly a surprise. Then I have to think he might have been doing one of more serious drugs for them to go out of their way to waive him since they like to keep all doors open based on past behaviour. That and/or the details behind the scenes wasn't very favorable as you say.
But this article simply refers to the RealGM transactions log, so it's not really an additional source reporting the same information. It might in fact be true, but how come absolutely no basketball media, local nor national, reported it? Why would we just waive him when retaining his rights would have cost absolutely nothing? As someone else pointed out, the Raps have continued to retain Nando De Colo's NBA rights for years lol.
Edit: I missed the Blake Murphy reply tweet in the middle of this thread. He confirmed that we still retain Harris' rights, so the RealGM transaction log info is evidently wrong. It would have been absolutely asinine to waive him.
