If Dragic looks good, we can make room for him going forward. Maybe at a discount, if not he can be converted to a decent first.

Agreed do not blow this asset dude still looks 25.

Probably back in the BC era. I remember they aired a full practice on NBA TV once.

Thankfully our FO is beyond that and will manage and prevent this lol

That would be great actually. I’m already not convinced with Fred as the PG so if Dragic can win that spot we’d be better off.

Dragic has 6th man of the year potential with Toronto if he sticks around past the deadline.

We're going to end games with Dragic, VanVleet, Trent, OG, and Siakam.

You'll always get the other side of it where the fans just hate you especially with such a big fanbase like ours, there's still some people that get livid whenever Derozan's name pops up...it's like he f*cked their mom or something.

Or put another way it was LeBron's Mom who...

The answer to the question is who is Delonte West.

Nurse probably swaps Barnes in for Dragic on defensive possessions at the end too.

Probably just landed in TO. Goran likes to hang out too.

I don't see Goran buying real estate in the burbs if he's intent on moving at the trade deadline, so he's probably got a rental condo on the waterfront just like the young guys. He has a wife and 8-year old son. Do they come to Toronto for 6 months or stay in Miami and figure out where he's going to be in February / March? It's likely that they stay in Miami for now and someone does the commute.

Stay in the DeSantis dystopia or come to Toronto?

Hmm.

I remember him back when he was on the Suns, backing up Nash. He can play at the type of speed we want, with a group of insane athletes. He's a great QB for that style of game.

He'll put up great numbers, it'll be win/win all around.

I wonder if the FO will want Nurse to start Goran, as a means of propping up his value at the deadline. He'll probably be the 6th man, but I think it would increase his value if we had a winning record at the deadline and he was a starter from day 1.

I don't think he's going to take Fred's place at this age, but he'd definitely capable of SG. I kind of see him and GTJ as interchangeable.

More two guard unit's that they love to run.

Nurse already said Dragic is probably coming off the bench. However our shot creation is going to be atrocious so I think he’ll play in crunch time.

This is probably the right move. Part of the reason why Kyle/Fred were effective on the court together was due to both being able to defend both 1's and 2's. Dragic doesn't have that same ability, but his shot making off the bench will help out guys like Barnes, Flynn and Boucher.

I'm not sold on GTJ being much more than a streaky shooter, so in close games Dragic should absolutely close. A Dragic/FVV/Barnes/OG/Siakam closing lineup is probably as good as it gets for us this year.
