give some more time to OG, he has it and can do what he is trying to do well.. we saw it in the preseason where he looked kawhi-esque, will take time

Barnes knows how to play the right way. You can see a huge difference when he's on the court vs. when he's not. He has a better basketball IQ than some of the players who played on the championship team.

This team has a lot of growing to do. Right now the majority of the new players give me the impression they're trying to get paid. That needs to change. This team isn't a good offensive team, but they're a great defensive team. The reason why they look good when Banton and Barnes play together is because both of these guys are team players. Even with the terrible offense they will run plays for others while the defense will keep then in games. The rest of these guys have to buy into that.

Barnes was great.

If Achewa can clean up some of those mistakes he can be pretty impressive too. Some nice footwork in transition from him

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

One of the most dominant rookie performances I've seen.

He was our leader in every single facet from poise, to offence, to energy, to defence.

If you rewatch the game and just pay attention to his movements (forget the stats), his impact was absolutely devastating.

One of the happiest nights I've had as a Raptor fan.

Scal kept praising Barnes all game, he loves his game.

Scal also mentioned whenever FVV got the ball, it stopped moving.. pretty funny hearing that from an outsider but this was a feel good win and we don't even have Siakam.

It wont be like this all the time and we have ways to go offensively when things aren't going our way but proud of our young guys.

Who tf is scal? And why do we care about his opinion?

I’m guessing Brian Scalabrine.

I think he can reach stardom now. I didn't think so before, but today showed his path to stardom. His size on the wing mixed with his speed and handle is too much. It's like seeing LeBron just body everyone year after year.

He was the obvious pick by far at 4. What a flipping home run.

OG 4 for 18, and we still win by 32 on Boston's home court.

Wow.

Barnes is such a joy to watch.

Scottie was obviously the star, but that was also a great team win. Lots of guys contributed - I had no idea that Precious was working on a 15-15 game, for example, until they mentioned it near the end. And the defence by everyone was tremendous. How many total deflections did we have that game?

Hopefully this is a game that shows OG that he doesn't need to try to do it all. It's clear he's been trying to do too much. His defence was still there, but his offence is really suffering. He just needs to go back to what he does best, stay within himself, hit his shots, and make quick passes.

Also, that was a blowout and the Raps still haven't shot the ball well from 3. Until garbage time, when they suddenly had 4 in a row, they were 6-31. Just wait until guys like OG, Trent, and Dragic start shooting their averages.

to be fair he said it as a positive; if things are wild and sloppy, the ball gets to fred and he settles it down, resets the play. real raps fans know though ;)
