Never forget Butler chewing out the entire T-Wolves squad. Man went to Philly and they pissed him and off and he ended up making the finals before either of them. The revenge tour was epic!

According to the T-Wolves fans I talked to the main gripe Butler had was Taylor's hesitation of giving Butler a 5 year max and Jimmy was livid at how they gave Andrew Wiggins a 5 year max and he got worse to the point he made Rudy Gay look like Kobe efficiency wise. I remembered Thibs tried trading Wiggins instead of Lavine but the idiot owner said no. If they had kept Lavine and had not traded Rubio to sign Teague who was a horrible fit in Minnesota, they'd look a lot better and we'd be talking a different story. Putting Thibs in the Masai role+head coach was dumb b/c it didn't work with Pop and Riley.

Then to add insult to injury Wiggins continued playing like crap until Rosas made the ill-fated mistake of giving up a 1st for Russell when all he had to do was give up a lotto pro. 1st(becomes 2 2nds) or a 2nd knowing that the Warriors were in the same spot with Russell who's been a negative player his entire career outside the contract year in Brooklyn.

I'd look into it if I were the Raptors as KAT is far better than he's shown as the T-Wolves are a clown show organization that has taken so many L's you can make a bakery out of it and serve it fresh steaming hot from the oven. Their player development program is a joke and I think him getting a fresh start elsewhere would be extremely beneficial. If the Warriors were able to turn Wiggins into a positive role player(forget the contract he's never gonna live up to that deal) think what the Raptors could do with Towns as no players will come here in free agency.

Most likely case it won't happen as Masai&co will be patient and smart about it which is the right decision.

as much as I like siakam, not ever having to worry about the Center position the next few years is intriguing. I dont feel like our defense this year is anything special anyway aside from it being janky which could throw opponents off. We dont have any real rim protection, might as well throw a real 7 footer in there that adds to our firepower.
It's certainly worth a gamble to add more young talent to the roster as well.

We need a Centre. Pascal is a solid player but expendable now with Scottie

question is why would the wolves want pascal, who is much older than KAT. Pascal have to go on a tear to up his trade value for this to happen.

They'd only want him if they plan to still stay somewhat competitive. We'd obviously need to attach picks as well.

Return to Toronto Raptors
