If we're healthy the rest of the way, I can definitely see it happening. We're 3 games out of 6th place with ~half a season to go. I think our objective should be to match up against the Bulls in the first round - that's likely the most favourable matchup for us.

There is nothing wrong with being optimistic obviously, but I feel pretty confident that they will be play-in tournament bound. The team is so thin that Nurse is compelled to play 6-7 guys against playoff teams and VanVleet has come back down to earth. I could see Siakam be next in that regard. I thought they would be a .500 team before the season and feel the same now. The team is the youngest in the league. There is no shame being a play-in tournament team this year.
We're 8-4 in the last 12 since we've come back from H&S protocols. One bad loss to the Pistons and 3 close losses to top/hot teams in the league while we've also been missing multiple key players (Scottie+GTJ against Phoenix, GTJ+Birch against Miami, GTJ+Birch against Dallas). We have been playing a tight rotation and it's going to be tough to sustain high levels of play if our top guys are playing 40 MPG most nights, but being without GTJ recently is the main reason Siakam/FVV have been playing massive minutes. Before this recent stretch, FVV played 40+ minutes 7 times in 34 games and Siakam played 40+ minutes 4 times in 23 games. Otherwise, OG's and Scottie's minutes in the last ~10 games are right in line with their season average.

We've had one of the most difficult schedules so far (#5 SOS) and one of the easiest remaining schedules left (#22 SOS). Being 4 games out from 5th isn't an insurmountable gap.

The Raptors stacked a bunch of wins against teams not playing their best players. I can't remember the last time they beat a quality playoff team that was at full strength.

Not necessarily easy, but it's certainly not murderers' row. Nets, Bulls and Heat are the only top teams we play. Two games each against Charlotte and Atlanta, a game against the Nuggets and Wolves plus those other 3 against bottom teams. I have a hard time seeing us going .500 or worse in February.

Doubt it.
Jalen Harris is shooting 38/30/65 in europe.

I'm still hoping he turns it around, but I am less optimistic than I was after the suspension.

We literally just beat the Bucks last week. They were fully healthy aside from Jrue, but we were also missing both GTJ and Scottie. The other win against the Bucks without Giannis was also good.

Cleveland has beat Brooklyn without KD, Utah without Gobert (and Whiteside and Gay), Portland without Lillard and McCollum, Indiana without Brogdon and LeVert (and Duarte and Lamb), OKC twice, San Antonio and Sacramento lately. Does their 8-3 record this month not count? How is that any different than what we've done in this last 12 games? Why do all of our wins against teams get thrown out of the window regardless of who is available?

Scored 14 points in 20 minutes today.

He’s worth bringing to training camp next year at least.

The Bucks did not have Holiday. I said I can't remember the last time they beat a quality playoff team at full strength. I imagine that is because they most likely have not done so all season.

We also were not at full strength (GTJ was out). I'd challenge you to find any game with two quality playoff teams that were at full strength in the last two months. Please try.
