I've been telling you guys for days that you're making a deal with us. Suns can't do announce any deals till Wed-when our new owner takes over. Sarver can still veto till then.

Watch. Tuesday night stuff start to roll out between our 2 teams...

Ayton/FRP/Jae Crowder for OG/Koloko/OPJ

It's not that I doubt you but I doubt your math in that deal. That's 40 million going out from Suns and only 25 million going back to you guys.

If he is legit ( which i hope not because i dont want Ayton) then the deal would work if its a three team trade and Crowder goes to another team)

I also dont think he has a source because Phoenix is saying they are interested in Durant, well they would need Ayton to trade for him. This trade would take them out of the running for KD now and in the summer

I don't have a source. I'm just bored, here fan posting on RealGM. Like all of you. That being said...it does make sense. I mean our GMs were hanging out and the match-up of players make sense.

As to the contracts matching up: That's where you guys add (bum of choice) to the trade. I would guess OPJ since he hasn't played this season at all to my knowledge and will no doubt trigger his player option in the summer. I don't know how you guys feel about Boucher but I would think he'd be a good filler as well.

We honestly don’t want to pay Ayton 30+ Mil , we have up and coming Precious and we would be better off getting a much cheaper back up center or even going after Poetel who would be cheaper to obtain.

If nothing significant occurs, can they seriously claim winning is their #1 objective? Would be interesting to see recent TV ratings.

Don't want any double down type of trade especially if we trade a FRP or thaddy-swap it. That would be worse than standing pat.

Another trade scenario I can see is a smaller trade to save money so we steer away from the luxury tax for next year, and can possibly help the tank (ex. Boucher for prospect + expiring).

Poeltl wants $20 million/year apparently. I can see Masai doing it because we’re defence > everything . But man thats alot of money for a guy whose just a glue player.

In all honesty, I think you guys do it because Masai can probably harness his talent better than the Suns have. I think we dropped the ball on him but he's still showing signs...take his game on Saturday for example :o :o :o

Your development team that produced Siakam, FVV and OG could probably do wonders on a former #1 overall pick. I personally think Masai sees that.

JJ wants to win and OG is a good way to do that. I also think that him and Mikal should make a ferocious pair on defense.

Ayton is who he is, hes not leading any team in the playoffs. Any player who needs to be benched in a finals run is not worth over 30 Mil. Suns can keep that mistake we would rather trade OG elsewhere.

Hypothetically, would you trade Bridges for Ayton?

I'd presume the answer is no (I know I wouldn't) and that should tell you how we feel about OG for Ayton. We're not Bobby and Masai though so who knows.

I personally don't see Mikal and OG as even though. I get we all have our biases for our own players but facts are facts here. Even if they are even defensively (Mikal was runner up for DPOTY)...Mikal still plays more games. That alone gives him a monster boost over OG.

So, no I don't think they're even. FTR if we didn't hear all of these comments coming from OG and his camp about more money, more shots, etc, etc, etc. I'd say that I'd agree that he and Ayton aren't tradable for each other.

But we there is alot of noise and the Suns can sweeten the deal with another FRP while taking on some crappy contracts you have.

We'll see. Should be an interesting next 72 hours or so.

kind of sucks how a Kyrie trade request materializes and gets completed before the weekend is over, yet we know we'll be refreshing all week with no news until after the deadline thursday.

I think FVV's stock with LA and BK just went up.

Nets need a PG and Lakers just missed out on Russ

Wouldn’t surprise me if a Fred and OG for Simmons and Cam Thomas was discussed. I know a lot around here hate Simmons but the interest has been there in the past. Not advocating for this trade, I just think the nets would want both OG and Fred.
If they want to keep cam, and they likely do, then Fred, Thad and Otto for Ben.

I'm at a point where I'm losing confidence / hope, and I'd be surprised if Masai does anything at the deadline

There is no precedence for this season. Closest thing is the Tampa season.

Masai traded Norm for Trent
Did not trade Lowry

Can we please stop pretending like Ben Simmons has any value at all? That’s far and away the worst contract in the league and the dude is mentally toast.

I wonder if what happened at that deadline will impact the front office's decisions now. Naturally you need to try and get the best return you can, but at the same time being too attached to a player in trade discussions can be counterproductive as well. Things worked out ok with the Kyle s&t, but perhaps we would have been able to extract Maxey at the deadline. Or worse, we might have dealt Kyle for Tim Horton-Tucker. I just hope that whatever happens, that it works out well for us.

Didn't they have a game a month ago that didn't sell out? I didn't think that would happen anytime soon in Toronto.
