He's expiring salary filler. I wouldn't mind a few nut punches while he shoots 1/10 and leads the tank.

I don't think we're in the position to even be talking about playoffs right now. Ayton or og it doesn't matter we ain't doing ****.
if we're going to pay a guy max and we can only have 2 maybe 3 of these contracts on our team, we probably should care.
OG i know won't be played off the floor in any situation.

Even with all of kawhis great defense if he put up demar derozan numbers offensively we would've lost to yhe sixers guaranteed.
"What if's" are things that didn't happen. Deal with things that really did happen.
You obviously don't understand the discussion your reply isn't relevant to it. It has nothing to do with the point being made. I don't give a **** about demar. This is a continuation from a discussion in a previous thread. To which the initial point I was making was that elite offense makes up for bad defense. Keep up or just dont reply with thinga that make no sense. I'm not trying to start random debates about nothing.

He got benched a few times in last years run.Scizzup wrote:OakleyDokely wrote:Ayton's all fun and games until his maxed ass is on the bench in crunch time after being played off the floor in the playoffs.
where did you get this from? DA been good defensively in the playoffs. He was great their finals run and okay last year.
Unless you are talking about Luka scoring on him on switches? DA problem is he plays soft at times and his motor is not constant.

And he doesn't have the worst +/- on the team!! Suck it haters!![]()

Just because s coach chooses to play a guy 40 mins doesn't mean he's actually doing anything to help us win. Maybe in the coach's eyes but if it doesn't get results it doesn't matter.
I dontveven mind og. I think he's a great role player. But thats all he is is a role player. Not someone you build around. We have far too many holes on this roster to be concerned if guys are getting played off the floor in crunch time in the playoffs. First we need to find a way to build a team that gets there consistently. If it means rebuilding and acquiring different talented pieces that happen to not play defense so be it. All I know is the curren4 team with its current players isn't doing ****.

He's been a bucket, I didn't need these 3 games to know that either. His game logs from last year speak for themselves

I'd rather have OG at 17M/18M over next couple years.

I'm just not a fan of paying max to a solid, but not great player.
That's what you call a Milt PalacioPRESTIGE wrote:Ben Simmons with a sizzling 2-4-6 stat line. Did anybody arguing for us to trade for and somehow rehabilitate him watch him play this season?
