Good foul by Brooks.

LOL RJ trying to split defenders with the dribble...very reminiscent of OG or Pascal

I'm looking for a better second half from Canada. They played their scrubs to start out, but neither scrubs nor NBA players are having any success right now.
I believe in Masai.

Dennis is gonna make the raps player faster, which should lead to more ball movement and movement in general.

So he doesn't walk over half court at the 8 second mark and then stand at the logo to provide "spacing"?? Unbelievable

At the game. Canada looking pretty disinterested. Hoping they wake up here in the 2nd half.

Franz would be the 2nd best player on the Raptors by a comfortable margin.

Re: Canada vs Germany Men's hoops 1 PM Eastern today
First half thoughts:
Team(s):
- Germany looks like a team that has been playing together while this looks exactly like Canada's first game of the season (obviously).
- 3 pointers are not falling for Team Canada, major problem at this point.
- On the flip side, we had two fast break opportunities where we came up empty handed. Can't miss 3s and FBs.
- Biggest fear of having a new coach with a bunch of NBA talent, looks like some of our players are trying to do a little too much (RJ, Brooks specifically).
- In my opinion, some of our best minutes came when TBH was on the floor as our PG... Clearly missing Pangos/Cojo/Murray.
Player Specific:
- SGA looks slow. Aside from the iso plays he had on Schroder in the 2nd quarter, pretty ineffective. Also, we struggled hard when he was playing PG (hoping Murray joins to mitigate this after these exhibitions). Really not playing like an All-NBA guard at the moment.
- Dort looks fantastic on defence. Really bothering Germany's PG in the minutes he's been playing.
- NAW is also being pretty active on defence and managed to hit a 3 (thank god).
- Theis pick and pop is obliterating us. He's automatic and he ends up pulling one of our bigs away from the basket by being out there leading to offensive rebounds for Germany.
- Brooks is playing hard which I appreciate. Crowd got after him on a foul on F Wagner which was completely legit.
- Olynyk has been getting blown by on defence (not loving this but what can you do).
Overall - not too surprised? I expected a bit more out of Canada due to our "talent" but kind of unrealistic to think we were going to come out of the gate and beat up on one of the more talented European teams. Hope this humbles our guys - so glad we are playing these friendlies before the WC.

I've said it before, but in a redraft I'm not sure the Raps pick Scottie over him...

He would be an ideal complementary player to open things up for Pascal. He'd also be a proper secondary scorer.
I believe in Masai.

Comeback, Germany makes a lot of lazy blind passes under pressure.
