Imagine trading down in the draft and trading 3 Draft picks for Thad Young and Poeltl. Spurs keep fleecing us.

Crap draft other than Topic, who is the runaway #1 pick.

Time to bring this thread back to life. We suck and might keep our pick this year. Time to start looking at prospects that we might get with our potential lotto pick.

I'm gonna start watching some UK games they always have great guards. We might get more picks for this draft if the FO trades some of our players.

I honestly feel Jazz are the only ones that are going to stop us from finishing bottom 6. Grizz will pass us, and the bulls and hawks are just much better.

We just gotta pray no one moves up in the draft. If we are 6th and someone moves up before our spot? omg its going to be so depressing.

Other than Sarr, every top prospect in the top 6 range is a wing or PG.

Just what we need.

I agree. But imagine we keep the pick and give away a 7th pick next year? I feel like that is shaping up to be worse

Don’t waste your time. Masai isn’t drafting a guard.

Cooper Flagg is supposed to be in the 2025 draft no? But I am not sure how good of a prospect he will be

People call this a weak draft but what they mean is difficult to evaluate. These are the kind of drafts that are fun to scout because the best player or players are going to end up being taken late in the lottery or outside it.

Reminds me of 2011 where you had Kyrie going #1 despite only playing a few games, then Klay at 11, Kawhi at 15, Tobias Harris at 19, Butler 30, Bogey at 31, and IT at 60.

My top 10 for this draft is very different from a lot of the current consensus rankings.

Big fan of his shot making ability. He reminds me of Quickley with more PG feel. I'll be focusing on more of his POA defense the rest of the year.

There are good players (superstars, even) in "weak" drafts.

Yeah his shot making and ability to get downhill is very intriguing. Like you I want to see his POA defense. The next game is on the 29th, will be watching.

The lack of them pre draft, is what makes it weak.

I hope we make some deals to get better short + long term. Quickley and/or Mathurin are ideal fits. Exchanging our point guards for a starting caliber player would make us at least a .500 type team.

With that said, it’s looking more and more likely that this pick will be anywhere between 5-13 so why not evaluate some guys? A lot of my favourite sleepers from last year like Jaquez, Podz, and TJD are doing well so far. These under the radar drafts are the best for those who love to evaluate.

I’ve seen him as high as #2, as low as #17 and every where in between on every mock draft I’ve looked at. Seems like that type of no consensus draft where the best player ends up going around 15th. What do like about Topic so much to have him first on your board?

True. Even 2000 which most agree is the worst draft ever or at least of the last 30 years had one all NBA player.
