Nah he’s just a good player.

We honestly do need vets like him around our young core. No more of these washed up vets like Thad, Otto, and Temple

Bruce is a 27 year old vet with championship experience. His value on and off the court makes him extremely important for us. I’m beginning to feel it’s best to keep him until the offseason at least

Extending Brown to a team friendly contract will also increase his trade value.

I hate the championship experience narrative. It's played out. But other than that I agree

He's a great role player, but if we get a first round pick for him, let's move him.

Pascal got us 3 first round picks, I don't think Bruce is going to get you 2 first. If lucky, a late first.

Masai in press conference said he doesn't intend to draft 3 picks this coming draft.

He's looking to consolidate picks. Picks after 2024 draft for brown isn't the way to go

I agree. You could see tonight that he just knows how to ball. He’s a big culture guy too. The way he plays defence will bring toughness and this team needs to develop a defensive identity asap.

His impact on this team’s growth is worth more than another late 1st.

We can trade GTJ for one of those.

You want a guy like Brown on the team to help with a young core. Trade him if you get a crazy offer but him staying is fine too. He is basically a much better PJ Tucker and can replace Temple as the vet.

Exactly this.

The goal should be maximize picks and youth for the next two seasons.

I don’t think you realize how often contending teams trade their firsts for help in a postseason run. At least a few of Boston, Minnesota, Milwaukee, Philly, Denver, NY, Miami, OKC would offer a first for Bruce if they could make the salaries work

Yes Brown always have amazing attitude, and he never fails to deliver his 110% , literally I never saw Brown underachieve on the Nets , he might be limited in some aspects but he is the dog , fighter , hustler , very likeable player as well

Give him a few games to acclimate, he can do it all and will surprise you more often than not , positively

Team is in a rebuild phase, guys like Brown are very useful for a playoff run. If they get a solid offer, you take it. As example, Josh Hart was traded for a late 1st in a good '23 draft

Bruce Brown put a baby in her. Bro NEVER underachieves.

It would suck to give up a high pick to the Spurs. I would keep Brown until the off-season, unless there's an offer that blows us away. The Raptors were looked at as big talkers that didn't want to pull the trigger. That stigma is likely gone now. We lost on the Siakam trade and broke even on the OG trade but we can play the margins here.

Brown, Poeltl, Trent, Boucherand Schroder are all solid vets that would contribute to playoff teams. We can definitely get a first round pick for each one of them (maybe 2nds for Trent and Boucher). I'm pretty happy with a core of Barrett, IQ, and Barnes. They will all continue to improve and we can try to become contenders within the next 3 years.

We need to continue collecting picks and developing young talent like Barnes, Barrett, Quick, Gradey, and the three guys we pick this off-season. I'd throw a big contract at a target this off-season just to make another team react and go into defensive mode and fix themselves into a bad contract.

Good things are coming soon. There will be growing pains but I can see Scottie being a LeBron type of talent that can will a team into the playoffs. We need to try and consolidate as much talent as we can in the form of picks and assets before that happens.

Brown to New York for Grimes, Fournier then redirect Fournier with a the lesser pick between Utah/OKC/and the other two teams for Bertans or an expiring big man.

Trade Poeltl for Zubac and LAC's 2030 1st (unprotected).

Trade Schroder to Suns for a future first.

Trade Trent Jr for 2nd round picks to whoever will take him for an expiring or TPE.

Zubac - J. Porter
Barnes - Boucher
Barrett - OPJ/Thad
Grimes - Dick
Quick - Lewis

That team wouldn't be the bottom barrel of the league but they aren't competing either. But an addition 3 1st rounders to play with in the coming years and some more young talent that Darko can unlock wouldn't be bad.
