brown will be super valuable this offseason

Not saying you’re wrong, but would like to know how he’ll be more valuable in the summer than prior to this deadline.
See a lot of folks saying this but I can’t seem to wrap my head around it.

I'm not sure if "more valuable" is the right term, if that's what people are saying. However, it's possible that the team will have more suitors for Brown in the summer, when matching salary for trades isn't as difficult when teams have cap room before filling out their rosters.

Team options for mid-large contracts are rare. His value goes beyond his playing capabilities.

I hope he is not the second coming of Precious. I had enough of that to last me for the rest of my life.

Josh Green's defense sucks.

He’s regressed on that end but I still think he can become a capable 3 and d type for his career.

I am counting down the minutes before Matt Devlin yell out: "Ochai..Oh my!" as if OG was never here.

Seriously, I hope the kid gets to play tonight even if it is limited. We have not had an athlete of his type in a long time.

I like this video that shows his strengths on defensive contests and guarding one-on-one. Maybe this guy could amp up his defense to Marcus Smart level in time.

I’m very excited for this pickup. Ochai has all the tools to be the 3&D piece of our core moving forward.

He needs to improve his above-the-break 3 point shooting but I think that’s just a matter of developing his range. He’s very good from the corners, 46% last year and over 41% this season.

I know some people were disappointed that we didn’t move Bruce Brown but I think he can have a big impact of Ochai’s growth as a defender. Agbaji is a good defender but could become a great defender with his athleticism and defensive effort.

He’s should have a nice opportunity here where he isn’t buried on the depth chart like he was in Utah.

Maybe I can't shake the Kansas connection, but offensively he reminds me of Ben McLemore. Capable shooter, good athlete in transition, lob threat in halfcourt, limited handle.

I'm really intrigued by this acquisition and I'm excited to see him play for us tonight. I don't think he'll reach OG's level of 3+D because OG's defensive versatility is unmatched, but I have a feeling we may have found a damn good replacement and I wouldn't be surprised if he was starting within a few weeks.

Hopefully he's a "I don't need the ball to be effective".

What I like is how much more explosive and athletic we've become in a short time. Barrett, Quickley, Nwora and Ochai have upped our burst and athleticism.
