I watched the game and his teammates bricked layups worse than us. He should've shot more in all honesty and probably could have gotten 60.
He's an interesting player in the right situation. With some consistency in the right situation, with the right coach he could pop. He's got game, but too inconsistent and often too passive when he can't afford to be.
I've always pulled for him. Seeing him and Delano show flashes of progress makes me happy we got rid of Nurse.
I thought Flynn could eventually become an above-average bench PG for us, but that definitely didn't happen. Maybe he was never comfortable playing for Nurse, who knows. But one thing I do know, before we blew up our team, we were desperate for shooting and play-making off the bench. The theoretical version of Flynn would have been perfect, maybe even could have kept that team together after FVV left.
Now Nurse... I know why he had to go. Chemistry issue, poor player development, selfish plays... I get all that. But to me, he's the best playoff coach in the entire league.
