I guess it’s cash

Pick #57 don’t have a lot of value

Could be wrong but it’s likely cash compensation

Either that or an heavily protected future second rounder (like top50)

But let’s wait for the confirmation . I just speculating here

That beautiful Nuggets bond between Masai and Connelly yielded a juicy 57th pick.

This guys ceiling might be top 10 or even top 5 in this class. Just have to hope we can develop him properly and help him reach his potential

I'd say GLeague, you want to be hands on for his development

Youngest in the draft.

He’s the 2 years away from being 2 years away 2.0!!

I dig it.

Atleast we didn't waste a first round pick on him.

Low risk high upside pick.

I’m not complaining, jus funny, lol.

I randomly see notice ‘raps acquire 57’…

huh? Why? How many second rounders does one man need???

*scrambles back to tv*

‘the 57th pick is Ulroch Chumchee, from the acamedy of Cameron’

Ahhhh…. Ok…. Now I understand.. Masai gonna Masai.. I get it.

Knock on wood, but it's pretty clear Connelly did Masai a solid for him to get his guy. Minny isn't giving anyone at 57 a guaranteed contract/roster spot. Anyone they want as an UDFA is available to them right now in any of their 2 way spots.

He’ll be starting from February onwards when Poeltl gets traded and the tank rolls down Bay St.

We coming for you Ace!

Raptors905 new coach Drew Jones is more experienced in development than Eric Khoury (and respectfully Eric is probably better as a NBA assistant). So hope this will be a great year for the 905

Never bought that excuse, but it makes more sense if they didn’t want 3-4 rookies at the start of the draft. Considering we have players to move, we could have ended up with 6 picks.

This guy could be the steal of the draft down the road. He is way more fluid and a better athlete than Bruno imo.

Youngest player, long term project, could either become a Cabocolo or what we hoped Cabocolo would be if he reached his ceiling. I'm happy to swing for the fences at the 57th pick.

Weak at the top, being flat is actually a good thing for lower picks
